Also, don't worry about having to qualify yourself to everyone. By qualifying I mean saying stuff like: "I'm mid-diamond, supersmart, Ivy League, drive a ferarri and use XL Magnum condoms yada yada yada". Just like a few others said in this thread, just don't give a shit what other people think about you. If you're so perfect, other people should have to qualify themselves to you.
Yeah I know, easier said than done, but you can do it. There are a ton of really successful guys in every profession that are short and do just fine. Just realize that what's holding you back isn't your height, it's your lack of confidence. You can't change your height (well, without painful surgery anyway), but you can work on being successful in life and use that success to draw confidence from.

How about this? Give me a few percent gradewise and I'll give you an inch or two, bring me down to 6'4". I love being tall!
But try not to be insecure. I'm recovering from a fierce war with acne and look pretty thin, but I don't let it bring me down. Gotta accept yourself and go with it.

hi, 1900 master league terran here (that seems to be the in joke for the thread)
I'm 5'7. I used to go to middle school back in my home of california, where the population is 70% asian american, needless to say I was above average in height, every time i visited the public high school I was at or above the sea of heads.
But I went to boarding school in new jersey, where I was probably one of the 10 shortest guys in my grade of about 100-120 males....ugh

Next person who remarks about your height, tell them you may be 5'3" but your 6'1" if you stand on your wallet. That should shut them up.

5'3"? That is really short...at least in my standards. Well, its true, girls like guys that are taller, you know, it kinda exudes more manliness. I'm 5'7, pretty average height here, though i wish i was at least 5'10 to 6'2 feet height. If i had that extra few inches i could dunk now since i jump pretty high...

Well... I'm 5'8''. Just under average. So sad am I. I've mostly gotten around it by hanging out with women. They tend to not make me feel like a dwarf.

Don't be self-conscious about your height. I'd prefer to date a guy taller than me, but if he had a great personality then it wouldn't matter how tall or short he was. Some women are just mega bitches when it comes to insignificant characteristics like height.

Shorter people can get a lot bulkier (muscle wise) with less work, most of the time. As a tall guy, I'm doomed to have peg legs and lanky arms unless I put in a WHOLE lot of work in the gym, where as most short guys can get big off of cardio.
Also, when you have feet the size of boats, you don't have much choice of shoes, unless you get them cu$tom made. When I go shopping for my annual pair of tennis shoes, I generally end up buying the first (and only) pair that fits at the Outlet mall. Cleats for sports were even worse, after size 13 I had to order those online and hope they fit.

i know a lot of short people. they are cool people, and i rarely think of them as short anymore. when you first meet them that's what you think, but sometimes you say things that you don't really matter to you. like if i call you short then i'm just describing you.
yeah it's kind of assholish but it's a defining feature. what you have to realize is that people don't care if you're short, it's not like "my god he's short don't wanna talk to him" from a guy standpoint. if i get to know you then i could care less. girls on the other hand are probably worse, but i'm 100% sure that if you find a decent girl she won't care about your height.
