With that being said, I still don't know how to transition against collosus ZvP when I go for a heavy muta/ling build. Should I throw in corruptors? Here's my idea: Get enough roach, corruptor such that when his army push out, use roach to tank, and muta/corruptor snipe all collosus then roll in the zerglings. Don't, just keep building muta/ling. In an engagement vs the Protoss ball, what you want ideally is for the lings to tank the stalkers while the mutas kill them (lings can shred stalkers too if the stalkers are focusing the mutas). That way, after the engagement, it's your mutas vs his colossi, and colossi can't shoot up. err.........and what do you do when your lings evaporate because you didn't focus the colossi down with your mutas/corruptors.....you're saying that you should get them separated which a good toss won't do... are you sure about that? how is P defending muta harass then? does he keep the slower colossus in the stalker ball while keeping the mutas out of his base? on topic: gratz! ....most people will make cannons in their mineral line and i know if i see mutas as protoss Im making phoenix.....so against someone like me its purely phoenix/stalker/colossi which will melt muta/ling all day long...
On staying on muta/ling vs collosus: It's doable, but you need to fly muta in first to snipe the collosus. You absolutely cannot "tank" with zerglings and hope to kill all the stalkers in time, the collosus literally melts your lings in less than 3 seconds lol.
Phoenix are fine, it's very easy to micro against them if you have superior muta force. Heres how: You attack and do damage, they'll fly away and do their silly micro, simply back off, they'll try to fly in and attack again, then you double back and go in to hit them for damage. repeat. I've only lost games to mass phoenix before I can get mutas up, it is really painful they start to lift your drones and really give you a hard time before your spire can finish T_T

too bad bnet doesn't allow exclamation points either! ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif) grats btw. gateway units+colo I generally find to be pretty ineffective vs any mutaling style. Mutas seem to deal enough damage / prevent P from moving out for long enough / force too many cannons that Z can get a pretty big advantage, if P responds with colossus+gateway units only. but you do need to make some non-mutaling units of course to capitalize on that advantage.

I swear, masters league is a lot harder to get into these days then some make it out to be! haha. I've been playing against master league players and have a pretty good win %/mmr yet still it doesn't want to promote me! I love the anticipation of a new league, division, and ranking. Congrats dude!!
