Short blog here.

So I decided I would pseudo switch to terran. Yesterday I had good success on ladder, increasing in rank some. I did some decent strats, and progressed decently...

But, after watching some strats on streams I realized I was for the most part mangling what I was doing, and so I changed strategies. But they turned out to be micro intensive, and i just got rolled.

I would like to request one basic build order for each terran matchup

I would post in strat, but I don't even think this is worth a thread, considering I'm messing around mroe than anything.

Also, anyone willing to look at any of these replays would be most welcome.

* 10/11 - Supply Depot (1)
* 12/19 - Barracks (1)
* 13/19 - Refinery (1)
* 15/19 - Marine (1)
* 15/19 - Orbital Command Upgrade
* 16/19 - Supply Depot (2)

This is the basic build order that almost every terran strategy starts from. Either throw down a factory after this or put down another barracks while slamming down an add-on.
Can transition into 1-1-1 (1 barracks, 1 factory, 1 starport) for some banshees. This will limit your ground forces though and is not recommended if you have problems with early attacks.

A better idea would be to get 1 factory with a reactor and a few barracks. You can then do a marine/hellion push, possibly adding some marauders. If you add marauders you can switch the tech lab from the barracks onto the factory after a while and get siege tanks while the barracks gets the reactor so you can really pump those marines.

If you do a marine/hellion/marauder push you will have a pretty good chance of getting an expo up. When your economy starts rolling, transition into tank/marine and get some bio upgrades.

TvZ: 12 rax 14 rax, pressure while adding CC then go double gas. From here, you can transition into tanks or hellions. I'd recommend getting the standard rine/tank/medivac army in the end.
TvP: This is kind of up in the air for me. You can do 1-1-1 -> rine/tank -> mech or do 1 or 2 rax expand but it may be difficult to hold cheese on some maps.
TvT: I just do the standard reactor rax/tank/viking with some add-on swapping for getting raven/more vikings. Banshee openers are also popular in TvT.

Ow, how do you deal with bio with tank viking marine?

You play defensively until you build up your tank count then push cautiously to his base. Siege up at a good location while expanding.
