This bog is for one purpose: Starcraft 2. I am going to be provided some analyses on the current battle.net ladders. I am currently rated at a 2500+ Platinum Random player, but recently acquired a new account. This account is all bronze and has me starting form the bottom. I will try and work my way to at least a platinum level in 1v1 and then I might start laddering the 2v2 and so on. If you are interested check this blog out daily for updates and if not then thank you for reading as far as you did and good day to you. I hope that I can help someone with providing analysis from a decent player like me. Even though I am not the greatest I just want to make the laddering system seem less vague for those beginning players. I will tell you a little about my background. I am a Starcraft since it came out. I remember playing it since I was about 7 years old. I once even snuck out of my house at 11 years old to go play Starcraft n64 at a friends house o.O. I loved It so much that I risked getting grounded for months just to play for an hour. I have been playing Starcraft 2 since the beta where I started off as a bronze player. The truning point in my game was when I seriously just got tired of losing so much. I remember because I told my girlfriend that no matter what I was going to get better! I eventually made it to Platinum ^^ and that where I am at today. This blog will help me understand the game better as I hope it will help you understand also. So embark with me on A Journey Through The Ladders.
Today I laddered a total of 8 games. I won all but one of those 8 games. I will analyze the one that I lost. It was on Lost Temple and a TvP. I spawned at the 8 position and he spawned at the 2 position. I went marine marauder early game with a fast expand. He was Protoss and he went stalker and got some colossi out early. I got my command center up and expo'd and went for an early harassment with some marauders. They got killed only after killing 3 zealots. Both my CC's were orbitals so I was dropping mules fairly quickly. He got out two colossi, about four immortals, 12 zealots, and some stalkers. He pushed my expo and just overran me. I mis-microed all my army and lost everything quickly due to the colossi's splash damage. He destroyed my two bunkers and I gg'd. He did not micro any of his units but won sheerly because of his colossi splash damage. I had an expo fully saturated but was not producing units fast enough off the 2 base. The other games went as I thought they would. I usually started off with two barracks and either a factory producing Thors or a Starport producing Medievacs. This worked up until I met the Protoss player I explained earlier. I was really mistaked since I am considered to be a very high Platinum player. I thought damn, I lost to a bronze player who is not supposed to be skilled at all. Then there is the thought that he could possibly be doing the same thing as me or simply a new player who is already experienced in RTS games.

Do you want feedback or something? Can you post the replay?
Make sure you spread out your bio ball, and if he's going stalker/ collosus and you aren't teching up yet, get a shitload of marauders with concussive shells and stim.
