So, Im thinking of making a map(Or a mod) with, well, imbalances.
Not map imbalances, oh no. Unit imbalances. I'm going to go around, and pick out my favorite fake changes in peoples "My Dream Patch" patchnotes, and add them in...and hopefully the result will be a map with all 3 races being equally overpowered.
But I was wondering if I could have some input?(Wasn't sure this would be alright to put into the Map making forums). What map should I put it on, that would be balanced? If I put it on a ICCup map would I need permission(I've never used anyone elses work...regardless I'd give credit where it's due)?
Also, post some changes you would like to see! They can be anything the would be relatively reasonable(No making Ultras take only Spawning Pool, and 5 minerals X_x)

So let me get this straight: Your goal is to make all units wildly imbalanced enough that all races are equally imbalanced? How can 3 things all be "equally overpowered"? Am I reading this right?

Hydras riding on roaches, when they both are attacking at the same time and going as fast as speedlings is somewhat balanced by carriers shooting out void rays.

edit: siege tanks that can patrol micro while sieged like vultures could in bw and that shoot psi storms

For example, this chess position is a position from the english attack against the najdorf:

White typically castles queenside and attacks the black king on the king side and black castles kingside and attacks the white king on the queen's side. Black's attack tends to be piece focused and white's attack tends to be pawn focused. These are all imbalances in the position, but the imbalances mostly cancel each other out and the player who best exploits the imbalances that favor him and negates the imbalances against him will have a better chance of winning the game.

Still working on the size, and changing the name and such, but yeah. It will also do 10 damage(5+5)..since you know, full thor damage is a bit too much.
