Some people were asking about my stream settings so I thought I'd share them here.
I am currently using XSplit Broadcaster to stream, the settings were a little bit tricky since I have only .5 mbps up, but I managed to find something that looks decent. A lot of the FAQs seem to require 1 Mbps up, but there was no good .5 Mbps up FAQ, which seems like it would cut a lot of the people out of the loop.
I set quality to 8, Max Bitrate to 350, Resolution to 720x576 and audio encoding to 22kHz with a bitrate of 48k. Set all this in the Channel Properties window, don't use 'Default Mixer Resolution' as some people suggest, as it caused lag and lower image quality in my tests.
It'd look a lot better if I could spike up to 750 but, I just can't, so I'll just have to wait for my ISP to improve.
Computer quality, it is a AMD Athlon II X3 455 processor, that's triple cores at 3.30 GHz. I have 4 gigs of ram and a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450. I remove the third core from SC2 and the first core from XSplit, that way, each program has a full core to rely on and can share the third.
I run SC2 on Extreme, Windowed (Fullscreen) mode and a screen resolution of 1280x1024. A widescreen monitor might lower the graphic quality unacceptably, however you could just keep the output resolution about the same.
Here is an example of the .5 Mbps quality. You can see it's pretty bad when watching a replay at high speed but during normal play its acceptable. http://www.livestream.com/goldenh/video?clipId=pla_deefcfe9-fcc3-48d4-b5e6-e65181a526d2

Just checked out your stream, the quality looks pretty decent for 0.5Mbps. You should include your specs though, and what settings you're playing SC2 in, since not everyone may be gifted with the encoding power you have in your machine.
Also, learn how to use hotkeys. I looked at your stream for a couple of seconds and one of the reasons you're so slow is cause you dont use hotkeys. It'll improve your game A LOT

Yeah. Keep on adding the army.
Also you lapsed on probes for a bit.
Also a bit stalker heavy.
(just my observations)

Got a link to your stream so I can check it out myself?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I use a lot of hotkeys but I changed my hotkeys around, so I am still learning a few of them. I turned on the command card so that it'll help.
I hate stalkers but sometimes I feel I have to build them to not die, I try to make as few as possible. If there's ways to survive things i'd like to know.
My livestream is livestream.com/goldenh but I haven't recorded anything since I started using XSplit. I'll see about adding some new stuff on there.
And I'll add my computer specs to the first post.

Well, you need a lot. But in pvp especially (if the other guy has immortals) you should havea few zealots to tank.

Yeah definitely, but what game are we talking about, if I think he's going VRs I'm not going to worry about the immortal he happens to have, for example

are these settings on xsplit or on livestream.com?
