Depending where you live, if it's summer at this time and not winter, sun stays out longer, is closer to the sun, and would leave the earth warmer for longer, since the sun is shining on it longer.
It gets so cold at those times because the earth obviously rotates, so it's at the farthest point from the sun ~_~!
At that time on the otherside, it's at the closest point.
Right? ?_?

As for getting a girlfriend, I prefer to be cold at night so I can warm up when I sleep B) But as soon as i'm asleep i'm like, 100% warm and like a heater!
