EPTI'm currently typing on a brand new steelseries 7G I offered myself (with the money of French taxpayer one might had). I had to get lost in car for an hour to get it, but it was really worth it !
Going on holiday to Rome in two days, for four. Rome is the city I haven't visited I want to go the most, I can't wait ! Long time since I haven't gone with my family too.
Speaking of holidays, I'm very relieved to have those two weeks, but I've got a million things to do ! I'm very good at procrastinating though...
By the way I've got an essay to write for my English class given by an american teacher. It's on the course I followed and Hanna Arendt's Eichmann in Jerusalem. As a French student, I'm used to much tighter questions, and I've always written within a strict imposed canvas. Any tips on how to structure this ? I guess I should choose a more specific line, but how should I introduce it ? Am I to be be didactic ? Am I free to do as I will ?
Completely unrelated, we had an amazing lan the other day with high school friends an my brother. A bit of CS (I suck so bad at fps, it's pretty funny^^) and lots of bw, it was so cool.
Some 3v3s wich were decided with gay DTs, lurkers lings or mutas, some 2v2v2 in which I failed pretty hard because I did not think anyone would rush, so I tried some 3 hatch before pool (the team that killed me lost in the end
) and a two hours free for all where I gave up because I was attacked by three guys (not that they did on purpose).THe last three player were my brother as terran, turtling and massing cloaked wraith (lol), a protoss who went carrier at a point, then reavers, and then mass sairs/DTs, and a zerg player in between (the best of the three), that I had left at some point with only an unfinished hatch hiden somewhere on the map.
He was basically fighting the two others, and each time he was on the verge of eliminating someone, the other would come and attack his main or something. It was hilarious to follow, he finally gave in without being really eliminated when he had to deal with a mass DT recall + mass sairs.
I finally managed to host on iccup at home, so I might play more, but that does not solve the problem at school, and I don't really have anybody to practise with.
This bw season is amazing, I think the Bo7 format helps a lot (except for Oz lol), as we get to see more "fun" matches, and it helps Ace too...
I want to write a more thought out post on TvT, can anyone advise me some old VOD to watch ?
I've already seen the Boxer vs Oov finals and most more recent advised TvT, but for instance I have not seen Iris TvT when he was in form (I believe he was very good at the match up, and I obviously love his TvZ and his TvP (oh my, those series against Bisu, sAviOr and GGplay were sooooooo fuc***** gooooooood^^)
And to conclude lots of love to all the people who keep bw alive here, moktira, the streamers, the writing staff (i do not always comment, but I read everything religiously), those who update TPLD, the one who make live report OP (mustaju <3), translators, and those who post in the section (thanks kona, zona, allfla for your live reports for instance), and all the one I forget !
