Here are a few: 1) Thirty second timer is stupidly annoying and unnecessary. Most people creating games are trying to go with only 7 people in the lobby just to avoid waiting the extra painful 20 seconds. Fix it. 2) Poorly designed difficulty settings... no one ever plays on anything but hardcore... specifically because hardcore games actually last longer than casual and normal games... so even beginners playing the game for the first time get more out of playing on hardcore than on casual. Perhaps figure out a way to make it actually hardcore on hardcore mode. Longer respawn timer + zergling double every 5 minutes or something... so you'd actually have to collect a ton of lings. Probably a bad idea, but the community can come up with something worthwhile I'm sure. Maybe Ultralisks darting around instead of slow hydras... I dunno, something. 3) A better indication in game of HOW MUCH TIME REMAINS ON YOUR BUFF. Everyone has played where they have Bite or something, and they rush headlong into a hydra the second it runs out. Playing with the giant window open is a monumental pain, and there must be a better way to do this. 4)More and Better powerups, or scaling, or something.. Possibly consumables to use.. Its funny how some of the powerups scale horribly, while others become Godlike in the late-game. Leech is pretty awful until people are getting close to winning, then it becomes the single best power up ever... so good in fact, that it may need a nerf. I have won a game from 0 to 200 with 1 leech and about 20 additional seconds. But Grow is pretty awful when a ling is worth 6 already..... Anyone else? | ||
