Now I know that TL has a great practice partner thread, but let's be honest: it's pretty fruitless. Every person I've met through there has played maybe 2 games and we never talk again.
I am looking for a group of people who are dedicated to practice and improving. I'm at around 2000 on the ladder right now and feel like the next step to getting better is finding some people who are like minded!
So what do I mean when I say dedicated and like minded? First and foremost is you have to be actually willing to play, and play a lot! And if you just play a lot, that's not even all that I'm looking for! I need people who are willing to obs and criticize games, chat on vent/skype about strats, review replays, all that stuff! What I want is people who genuinely want to get better and are willing to do what it takes to get there!
So, if you are on a team that fits this bill, or if you and some of your friends want to rally up and start something serious, please reply to this or message me!

umm, im assuming u are talking about sc2? why not go on the tl vent channel and look for players there?

This is a better way to advertise than just going into TL's vent and randomly asking whoever is in there. I mean, would you rather reach out to the 15-20 people in vent who might not be at the same level, or make a blog where hundreds of TL posters will read it, and respond.
As for the OP. I am hovering between 1600-1850 , and would love to be a part of something like this. My skilllevel might be a bit lower than what you are looking for, but if you dont mind, then feel free to msg me, and we can go from there! I also have a friend who is currently a 2250 zerg, who is also looking for something along these lines!

For something like this, if I were to get a 'team' going, I wouldn't really put your diamond rank as a requirement. I just want a core group of people who play, play a lot, and all want to get better.

I would love to do this as well as long as there is some kind of place we can communicate together, even just an irc. Too bad the practice partner thread/irc is always like you say, hopefully this team will work out.
