...well actually my brother did, my PC is incapable of running it but his laptop can. He bought it while deployed in Afghanistan and has just returned so hasn't really had a chance to play it yet. He hasn't played SC:BW for a good 8 years at least or something and generally doesn't play RTS games so he is inexperienced and I think the practice league would be just the place for him to begin.
I have played about 6 games in the practice league and have won them all pretty easily but noticed there's a limit of 50 games and was wondering if it's possible to play in ranked ladder games and still be able to switch back to playing the practice league.
Thanks!

Nope, once you get out of the practice league, there's no going back.

I don't think you can. Why would you want to play practice league anyways? Can't you just do custom 1v1's?

dont practice league its a waste of time

I dunno can you? Do you need to know the account name of other people and message them to join or something?

I clicked no on the practice league. BIG MISTAKE. I couldn't get back in so I was placed in bronze and had to work my way to diamond

No, you can't switch back to practice league. You can do custom 1v1, but most custom players are plat/diamond so that might be hard to get around if he's not that great at SCII.
|
jello, you are going to be a diamond player after your first 20 games, don't worry about practice league. Your bro might get stomped though if he plays on your account. Cause you're sc1 macro alone could get you into high diamond : D
I know this cause you helped me out when I just started playing sc in GBR-1 US EAST, 5 years ago, oh god the memories.

Haha I remember that too Rotodyne, you and middy13, good times
Yeah that's quite possible, honestly though I think he mainly wants to play the campaign, he generally plays FPS/RPG games, I'll ask him about it when he comes in though.

Yes you can just use custom 1v1 games. Just click the join game and select the Blizzard maps category. Just double click any map that you want to join. You will be matched up against anyone, including good players. Good players can help you learn a lot better than poor players, even if you lose.

Yeah I'd recommend just playing custom melee games. That way you can play on normal maps against decent people on faster speed and he'll still be able to play practice league.
Maybe add a few diamond players from the practice partner thread to his account and look them up?

Thanks guys I will try out these custom games. I found out that it doesn't really matter anyway because my brother just got himself a new laptop and is gonna give me his old one! I can have my own account ^^

All about comfort =P
