I recently bought an Alessandro MS1i to use at home, and one thing that's been bothering me about it is that the high ends are REALLY screechy and hurts my ears. One example I know where the headphone does is during this one song when they start ringing bells in the background. The bells sound absolutely terrible.
I read that there's some sort of magical "burn in" period with headphones. Is this part of the burn in period or will it always be like this? Cause this is pretty much a lot worse in terms of high pitch details (and elec guitars) than the earphone I was using before (Sennheiser CX 500) and it's driving me utterly insane. Is this seriously normal for this pair of headphones? Cause I haven't read anything like that. Or did I just get a defective pair or something?
It could also be a "volume" thing because it only does this at higher volumes (if i lower the volume enough I don't have this problem). The Heaphones are < 10 hours old.
The song in question (well, it does with MOST songs so I'm sure it's not the song's problem since the FLAC rip does this too). It's obvious when what's supposed to be electric guitars kick in at 0:15, and during the chorus (1:58) with the bells.
