Entrepreneur is a big word, especially in the Web industry. It's like everyone is or wannabe entrepreneur, bring a new idea, new concept, new service, new everything but, when you really try to do it, it's pretty hard.
You need, money, time, contacts, angels etc. how do you find them? How do you start? Where to start? What? When?... well, many, many questions.
To be honest, I don't know the correct answers to many of these questions. I don't even know how to make a company successful since my own company, eLive, has just started running semi-private-beta. Maybe eLive would be an epic fail, maybe not.
But it's been 2 years I'm working with Matoo- on this and we'd like to share our experience. Maybe one of you, reading or listening to this blog would, one day, become the next-google and hire me :p
Because I'm pretty busy all the time and also because I love eLive (ofc :p), I'll do it with it. Basically, it's a kind of audio/video interactive podcast/blog. I'll be able to share links and pictures but also videos while talking so it could be good.
But I'll also try to write stuffs here when I got time.
My eLive blog is: http://www.elive.pro/browse/playlist/25
The episode 1: is about why and how we started our project. I think it's hard for people to really start doing something. Sometimes we have the ideas but, actually, we have TOO MANY ideas polluting the real idea.
Btw, this is also the first time I talk-blog so it's pretty bad (and I'm french, so it doesn't help a lot -____-") :p BUT, I'll try to do better next time :p
Enjoy !

The episode 2: is about the art of pitch. For me, it comes before the business model or whatever. Knowing how to explain your product or your service to different people is a very difficult task.
In this cast, I'll share with you how we prepared our pitch during these years.

The episode 3: is about Business Plan. I cover here what you should think about in general. A BP should show how much you know about your company and your micro and your macro environment.
At eLive, our first BP was very focused on the product and the market. But our "coach" (From my incubator) told us it was very bad because I should talk more about... the team! Yup, the team DOES matter. Investors want to, first, know who are running the business even before knowing the business.

The episode 4: is about people going MAD. This is a big thing. Everyone can be mad for different reasons and when you are an entrepreneur, well, these things happen pretty often.
So what to do?

The episode 5 : is about how hard it is to reach users. The best products don't always win. The products everyone talks about do.
