EPTHey guys,
pls move this thread to another Sub-Forum if this is the wrong place =) anyways i wanted to share some of my impressions from IEM Cologne and the meetup with you!
first of all: Big thanks to fishyjoe for planing and organizing the event, it was great! i hope this time nobody forgot to pay for his drinks...
Lets start: In the train we made a little LAN-Party :D

So we went to Gamescom at Friday and went imediately to the ESL Gaming Area to watch some pretty awesome SC2 games. It was the first time for me to see some Pro´s in real life and i have to say i was really impressed, only by their apearance!
We sat on the floor, just next to day9 and apollo and i took a lot of pictures :D sadly my cam isnt the best and with the lighting it was really difficult to take good pics.

Then we checked out the rest of Gamescom, it was really impressive but standing in line for 3 to 4 hours, just to play 15minutes wasnt worth the pain...in my opinion.
after some hours at gamescom we went to our hotel and prepared us for the meetup. we were already really excited to meet some of you guys and some of the players!
we decided to take the artbook of the CE with us and ask the players for autographs
So we went there at 20:00 and fishyjoe was already there with some guys. TLO, demuslim and some other players were already sitting there and waiting. more and more people gathered, just to say some names: nazgul, hasuobs, dimaga....and many more.

We went to the restaurant at 2030 and i got a nice seat right next to nazgul, TLO, TBO and demuslim (i hope i wasnt disturbing you guys!).

We waited a long time for our food but so we had time to talk with everyone, and it was awesome to talk to some real legends of pro-gaming! some minutes later day9, idra, apollo, artosis and many more arrived at the restaurant.

In conclusion i have to say that the gamescom but foremost the meetup was great experience for me. i was so impressed of the players, commentators und the whole TL community!!! i mean, we met more than 70 people, and we didnt knew each other but the passion for starcraft brought us all together!
On saturday we checked out the showmatch between TLO and NaDa (we all know the ending of the story...). despite the ending it was very interesting to watch, and hey: when do you see a SC legend the next time?!
