Across the board it was a huge success.
That isn't to say that there were some major kinks, communication problems and general flaws ...constantly.... but over all we had a fantastic event with a ton of participation across the board.
First of all I would like to thank Greenforest for building the booths and sponsoring the event. I would also like to thank Esports United for their hardware donations for the players and the raffle.
Xeris was a huge help throughout the tournament and picked up the slack when I was completely exhausted. It would not have run nearly as smoothly without his efforts.
Psyonic_reaver was right on top of the stream when I was being more or less lazy.
Thanks to Day9 for stopping in to cast for the round of 4 and the finals.
Special thanks to BoboTheLuvRacoon for the ride/hotel (and being awesome) and team EG at large.
Most of all thank you to all the players and spectators who came by and made the event such a huge success. Thank you for your patience as well as your enthusiasm.
I heard that after the first day of the event everyone spontaneously organized a "King of the spectators!" tournament. Hearing that made my week.
I didn't get a hard count but we had well over 100 live viewers for the final as well as 10-15k viewers on the live stream (if justin.tv wasnt error out)
The matches were spectacular across the board and I am hoping that this isn't the last time we see live stages and progamer booths here in the US.
