Although it might be
It totally was worth every word.
So Let it Snow is written by three authors, John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. Each author contributed one story about a hundred pages long and each one was a story about teenage romance. The thing is that although it is a rather romantic book, it's a fun book and a book that gets me hook.
So Maureen Johnson writes the first short story. It's about a girl, Jubilee, who is stuck in a random town because of this big snow storm. Her train is stopped by the snow on the way to Florida because her parents were arrested for an alleged black friday-esque incident. Yeah. Her parents are one of those. She goes into Gracetown and finds herself meeting a series of people that change her throughout the night.
John Green writes the second short story about a guy, Tobin, a rather clever nerd who finds himself being called by his friend. His friend "Keun" calls them about this train that was stopped in their town and now there are 14 CHEERLEADERS in his store all of who need help and want to play twister. They are now on a race to see who can get to the store first. Will they beat the college kids and a rather interesting group of twins to the Waffle House and be able to hang out with the cheerleaders? (First one there gets to come in--the rest have to go home).
Lauren Myracle writes about Addie, a girl who just got broken up with her boyfriend because she cheated on him in a party. Long story short, she has been trying to get a hold of him but surprise, he's not answering. She soon finds herself finding out she is rather...self absorbed.
So as you can tell by my own review of the short stories I LOVED John Green's short story, thought Maureen Johnson's was pretty good, and I wasn't a huge fan of the last one.
Tell me what you thought!
