What kind of watch are you looking at? With $100 you can get pretty cheap silver watches from Fossil.

One I bought recently:
http://www.fossil.com/en_US/shop/men/watches/dress_watches/analog_gunmetal_dial_watch-fs4481p.html?departmentCategoryId=30001&N=0&Va=205&Ns=p_msc0|0||p_weight|0&rec=26&pn=c&imagePath=FS4481

Other ones I like:
http://www.fossil.com/en_US/shop/men/watches/sport_watches/multifunction_black_dial_watch-bq9369p.html?departmentCategoryId=30001&N=0&Va=205&Ns=p_msc0|0||p_weight|0&rec=55&pn=c&imagePath=BQ9369

check that one out

No clue. The watch i posted is the only watch i've ever owned in my entire life so i have no knowledge on watches. Just looking for a casual watch(not formal) for everyday use preferably from Fossil because mine is still going strong after a decade. Don't know any other brands other than Fossil so if you know of any others I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've been thinking about trying leather watches but i'm afraid the leather is gonna smell.

EDIT:

i like this one that OneOther posted. I guess you could say i'm looking for something simple and not too complex looking.

This one looks tempting but i'm unsure how a black watch would look on me. Never seen anyone wear a black metallic watch before.

fossil as it goes is solid. but swiss made watches are usually the most expensive but the most reliable and aesthetically pleasing

I would suggest buying a fake watch :D

Seriously, silver fakes can be really good if you treat them carefully and don't go scratching the glass.

I'd actually recommend sticking with silver watches. Some people can pull off the black ones but I don't know, I prefer simple and clean watches over more stylistic ones. I am really liking the one that you linked. I got it a couple months ago, and it has served me well so far. It goes well with most clothes. I have actually gotten a lot of compliments from people on the watch.

Does this one have grooves for every hour(other than the 3,6,10 and 12)? I'm really digging this one.

Fossil FS4509 - One of my favorites in this price range. ~$65

[image loading]
Kenneth Cole KC1395 - Also really nice with the subtle blue tone. ~$85

[image loading]
Adidas ADH2026 - A bit different from what you have at the moment but very simple and sporty with rubber band. ~$65

Not sure what a bezel is :x Just need something simple that can be worn for casual and dress if possible. Preferably something silver and i want to try to stay away from gold this time(subtle gold is fine).

I'll definitely check out those brands.

Does leather tend to get dirty/smelly easily? I'm afraid if it comes in contact with water at the beach or something it'll smell fishy.

I like the 1st one and the 2nd one looks tempting too. Never tried blue.

The leather will normally be quite stiff and smelling leathery the first few days.
But after that it's great. I personally like the leather ones better as the metallic.
However there is a drawback to leather. When sweating the leather can give an uncomfortable feeling and you can get an itch on your skin under the strap. Nothing really serious or annoying but good to know in advance.

After the "new car" smell fades in the first few days you don't have to be afraid of it picking up any unwanted smells. If you sniff it closely you can always smell a hint of leather.

Bezel: The thing around the glass in the front/face the metal stuff you see above. There are many different shapes right I'm sure you've seen a few tonneau shapes (barrel), circular, oval, square, rectangular. It's all personal preference.

If you get leather wet or if you tend to sweat a bit = it's usually not a great choice of a band. I have a few watches and I wear my silicone band as my day-to-day and it's great. My leather band on my dressier watch is for going out.

Yo personally at the $100 price range I would personally recommend a swatch just because they have really quality quartz watches while keeping the price down. Fossil is great as well and they provide the movement for many fashion brand watches.
