I know that it depends on where you are attending the uni too, but there should be some common aspects no?
Everyone can contribute, but I would like to hear it from engineers, so pls write what or what you have studied. thx

In general you probably would have to know physics so far as covering the effects the physics of the earth would have on the building (i.e. gravity, wind sheer, stress, etc. etc.). So I would think that knowing at least some fundamental physics for building safety/longevity purposes would be a requirement. However, if you are asking does being an expert in physics first, and an engineer second make you a better engineer, I can't really say one way or the other. | ||
