Today i lifted my barack, went down the ramp, and went outside. This place is so hostile so naturally i landed my barack asap.
No hostilities were detected after exploring the vicinity of around my camp, so i carried on with my mission. My mission was to go to the city, go through the park, do my business and run home.
However when i crossed the park, i saw objects and i quickly recognised one of them from previous events. He was a friendly! At last friendlies! Fine, i can be here for a while and be safe i thought. So i sad down with them in the park. Now they all sad in this position and since i wanted to blend in i tried to to the same:

However i got pain in my legs from sitting in this situation. Im used to sitting at a computer not like this. But i sat there for hours going through the pain i had.
And i would just like to know if you also would have pain if you were to sit like that? o.0 lol - maybe i should go out more.

You mean you sat down criss-cross applesauce and it was painful?
Because honestly I sit criss-cross applesauce all the time. Even on the couch. Sometimes I do it and then lay back/down and sleep like that. I find it rather comfortable.
It does get a little hard on the one hip after a couple hours but then I usually just switch and put the other leg on top. Your body probably just isn't used to this positioning.

And my lower leg only starts to hurt after a while because it becomes numb. Not a thing that's really going out related though i think. Maybe just do a bit more jogging or something :p

ankle over knee is comfortable as shit for me, but sometimes my leg that's on top of my knee ends up falling asleep ~~ btw the way you wrote your post reminded me of Sousuke from Full Metal Panic
edit: oops if you meant criss cross position, then yeah that's also comfortable as shit, and i always sit like that when i'm in front of my computer

I have literally never heard it called criss-cross applesauce. I've always referred to it as sitting "indian style". Apparently they decided that was politically incorrect so they use criss cross applesauce now?

While it was somewhat entertaining reading this due to the way you described it as a terran starcraft situation, I wish to point out that you... wrote a blog about the fact that you walked into a park and sat down. I'm not quite sure how you can cover such a small amount of material and make it somewhat enjoyable a read, but you did.
I hope you made a quick run back to your base at some point because after the first hour or so you need to get a missile turret behind your barracks.
