mid-game, fended off a vr push and started getting my 3rd base up. game wasn't laggy in the slightest, and then suddenly a box comes up saying "you have been disconnected" with the only options being to return to the game or surrender.
well, fuck you, i was winning. so i went return to game, at which point it hung and returned this error:
ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005) occurred at 001B:3C9490B3. The memory at '0xF24C32FE' could not be read.
there's a whole bunch of other crap that i don't understand, but a quick google search brought up the same error for WOW and wc3. there's a thread or two on the sc2 bnet forums, but not a helpful response there yet.
has anyone had this problem, in sc2 or wc3/wow, and know how to get around it? it's not the first time it's crashed either (had it crash just in the main menu) and it's come up with the same error.

It was either a random fluke with virtual memory or part of your ram hardware is fucked up in your comp. Find some software that will test it fully to see if there is anything wrong. Typically thats what a memory could not be read error is but I'm not that savvy anymore so it's more of a guess.

this happens sometimes, you get dropped then the game crashes upon trying to leave. nothing to do with your ram or anything, it's the game

Yeah if you get disconnected there's a good chance of a game crash, it's just a bug.
