That something being the SC2.ru weekly tournament. And it feels pretty fucking good:D. Come to think of it i have never really won anything, aside from poker tournaments, so this should be quiet the occasion, had i not been desensitized to the relevance of winning(or losing) by the poker variance.
Well either way, here's the reppack:

My opponents were as follows(i'm ):
1:0 Amalthea, Silver, Blistering Sands
1:0 Buckfast, Platinum, Steppes of War
1:0 Kurganok, Platinum, Desert Oasis
1:0 MoMaN, Platinum, Scrap Station
3:2 NoJoyNoLove, Platinum, Lost Temple, Metalapolis, Desert Oasis, Kulas Ravine, Blistering Sands.
The finals games made me really nervous and tense. After the first game i felt like i have a pretty solid grip on his game and had more or less a solid gameplan(which i executed for the most part poorly) laid out, even though Nony has strictly forbid to focus on the meta game.
First game i lost by overextending myself with an offensive after defending the initial push in close positions, while cutting production for a muta tech switch. Not a good idea.
The second game however i felt pretty confident as i believed i had a firm grip on his strategy and timing so my initial plan was to go for muta harrass at the start however when i saw him do the exact same strategy he incorporated in game 1 i chose to go for the same path i took in G1- except this time i did it proper, and after fending off his initial push i immidiately cut army production and slammer high yield right as he was retreating. I quickly took the whole map and massed army when he caught me offguard with mass collosi, which set me a back just for as long as i needed to put up a spire.
G3 he picked desert oasis which is fairly much like saying hey i'm going to cheese you, which i denied and went for quick lair nydus into his base. I was a bit nervous with picking fast nydus because a top tier opponent would have enough control of his base to shut this plan down, and then in this case you've just abandoned your early advantage by not expanding. But from the information i had before game and what i could spot with my ovvies i went for an assessed risk of doing it.
G4 he picked Kulas and since i only saw him cheese or do fast immortal push i went for bane/ling break which i figured will shut down any cheese and have little issue with the army crippled by the fast immortal demands. Unfortunately he went fairly much direct counter- 5 warp gate push, which i simply couldnt deal with on one base one hatch basis.
G5 on blistering as soon as i scouted him i realized he is going for fast immortal again, so i went for quick roach- my goal was to reaffirm his idea of choosing a correct strategy and break the backdoor rocks. The plan was to switch to mass speedlings just before the rocks fall. And it worked. Easy and smooth.
