It's horrible and I've only heard horrible things about it. The majority of the show is censored and turned into a kids show. You are thinking of the 4kids dub. The Funimation Dub is legit. And seriously, there I can't see why you would think the original japanese voices are "terrible". The main reason that the Funimation dub is as good as it is, is because its so close to the feel you get from the original japanese version. I mean, in the 4kids dub, Sanji had a Brooklyn accent, not to mention various other characters (or all the loledits)... I can almost guarantee you that you are going to pick up the subbed versions once you run out of dubbed episodes. There is no way you are just going to stop watching One Piece with 300 episodes and climbing to go. Also, what did you think of Luffy's encounter with Crocodile? Whatever version you start with, English or Japanese, is the version that seems best and the other unnatural and terrible. I'm going to try and stick with the Funimation dub: it has about 15 episodes every 1-2 months released, so it will last me a long time. Luffy lost the first time to Crocodile and they are now talking about some weapon called the Pluton. Not sure how Luffy is going to actually beat Crocodile (or Smoker for that matter) as he can't seem to hit them at all.
I can enjoy both the Funimation dub and the Subs, so that's not necessarily true about "whatever version you start with, the other seems terrible"

ughh those voices make me cringe in general, I guess that's why I like reading manga so much more than watching anime :\ Although I like the Korean dub for One piece

Is this rosario thing called Rosario Vampire? it seems interesting. I'll read into it. Yeah one piece is awesome and the only thing interesting about Naruto is Sasuke's story. Every single other character is pretty boring. Same with bleach except with no interesting character lol.
I stopped reading one piece because I like things that end and only bad or greedy writers keep stories going longer than they should (there were so many scenes in OP that took several chapters which could be explained in like a few pages).

i disagree. i think naruto (the character) particularly became a good deal more interesting with his growth in strength and character-wise throughout the story. the relationships between and the roles of individual characters as well (sakura, shikamaru, the jinchuuriki, akatsuki, the whole backstory of madara and the uchiha, the sannin and their history with pain, konoha and itachi, ...). sasuke and his emo shit can just go and hide in a corner. i hate how continuously has to point out how alone he is instead of just doing his thing.

Ok, ok, enough with the dubbed vs subbed vs manga. Let OP enjoy One Piece as he wishes. The Funimation dub is decent and pretty much unchanged from the original so it's ok.

you are right. it consists of 19 chapters initially. however their later appearance, even though it was only for two episodes, was a filler. i only started to read the manga at about chapter 500... in this case i must say that im more disappointed in the series than i previously thought and that there isnt as much to the criticism of boring naruto/bleach arcs compared to the more favourably perceived one piece as people make you think. or maybe i just have to rewatch that part. dunno. :|
