It was about a UMS Map Idea.
PROGAMER RPG!!!
I havent decided how many players it would be but.. i would have a bunch of the old progamers as the choosable characters
 BoxeR as Marine
iloveoov as Goliath
NaDa as Vulture
 Reach as Manlot
 GoRush as Zergling
YellOw as Hydralisk
sAviOr as Defiler
Nal_rA as Archon
etc. etc.
The units imo wont play much of a role
if they seem out of the time period of the rest, dont correct me :D
So i imagined the intro to start with the BoxeR vs YellOw finals 2002
Then all the progamers go home and practice unless theyre already home (who cares ~_~)
Practicing would be either Micro or Build Order
you would make NaDa micro 3 vultures vs 15 lings or something
Bo would be "1rax fe vs 4pool" meaning you would go 1rax fe and 6 lings would appear when they would appear. of course, this would need some research.
The Storyline would be Proleague or Individual Leagues that were won by one of the characters. What the players would do vs other progamers is have a bunch of micro battles and the winner of the BoX wins the game but this part of the vision is blurry. of course, your only going to play important matches

GARIMTO
Reach
Anytime

YellOw -> EffOrt as Ultralisk
GoRush -> Calm as Infested Kerrigan
sAviOr -> Jaedong as Infested Duran
Reach -> Bisu as Dark Templar
Nal_rA -> Stork as Dragoon
Then the story can continue with the new characters
i dont map make anymore but i know this is possible so I hope that some one can turn my vision into reality!

me too. i had this idea when my friend said something along the line of
"Theres a map called Savior RPG."
"What if it was actually about Ma Jae Yoon!?"
"Bisu would be the final boss"
then my vision sparked as we started our game

I find your lack of Kang Min related knowledge disturbing.
For one thing, he was one of Savior's greatest rivals.
His unit would be a corsair, or reaver, perhaps a dark archon or arbiter.
His matches with the likes of Kingdom and Reach were awesome.

I would switch GoRush with July, that way, you can tag onto another of Oov's opponents.

Sounds like an excellent idea though. I've thought of a similar game myself but I'm no map-maker. Would definitely play though.

This is a VERY good idea if you make it in the Warcraft 3 mapmaker, sooo many more alternatives and such.
If you don't like all the premade models just go to www.hiveworkshop.com and download custom models there.

I'm not sure high likely it is that anythings gonna happen if you dont do it yourself.
But I think if anyone thinks about this its much better to wait a few more months for the SC2 release, since its map editor will be 15125902150 times better than the SC1 editor. Although I guess there wont be defilers until the Zerg expansion for SC2, if ever.

If its made for SC2, the units dont haveto be those units.
It can be your own created units so you have have MA JAE YOON in SC2 as a unit. :O!!!
