Heavy Rain frustration

Well, the game itself is pretty amazing. Pretty much feel like you're controlling a movie where your every action has an affect on the final outcome. (The Site) However, I put like 6-7 hours into the game only to discover that I can no longer load any saved files from it without it just going to a blackscreen and remaining there. I went to their forum and apparently a number of other people have been having these same issues. I decided to call a tech guy from the number in the booklet. He had me restore some settings to delete possible corrupted files, but that did not work. He then said that I should try it on another game and that my system might need maintenance. While I was dicking around with the settings that he was walking me through I asked him if this was a wide spread problem, but he said "No, you are one of only a few people I've heard having this problem".

Basically I'm just venting because I dropped 60dollars on a game I thought looked really interesting. As far as I had gotten I have loved the story so far and the graphics are extremely good. I will be red in the face if I have to delete my saved file and reinstall the game only to have this happen again. If I do start up another file there is no telling if I'll be playing it through the same.

Oh well no use in bitching I guess>:o

I hear some talk about that game in the bombcast thing where they also mentioned SC2, it seem interesting but I don't think I'd pay for it. What system is it on?

I forgot to mention, but it's a PS3 exclusive. The idea behind the game and the game itself is amazing, but this horseshit I'm dealing with now makes me want to callup sony some more and demand some sort of compensation.

No, it's much better, but it's just technical shit so far. Tomorrow if they don't patch it or something I'm going to call them up and bully my way into some free shit.

I heard this game is supposed to be really really good although it can be a little bit on the repitative side. I feel for you bro... when you get into a game like that and it stops working all hell breaks loose.
