Learning a shit load of new stuff every day. Imo the huge imbalance in the game atm is toss lack of anti air, especially vs zerg. The new air to air unit is absoulte shit. And goons suck too. Archons temps might be ok but its so hard to beat a good player who goes roaches and pressures then instant switches to mutas. Your whole army becomes nullified in an instant. Also hydras are supposed to be an anti air unit but they are way too strong vs land. Other imblance i find is terrans inability to deal with colluses. They need thor asap and its hard to get it fast.

The warp ship however is fun and can be used for some cheese. Won a few games by just speed buidling 2 warp ships then going to the zerg (zerg needs tier 2 for anti air) and killing the hatchery in 20 secs.

Also if you re zerg player, you only need 1 hatch unless ure exapnding.

As for my playing me and filthy sneaked into the top 10 in 2s earlier today, were 24-2 then got 3 losses in a row to the same team

My 1v1 record is currently #4 with 50-14 or something. Here are two of the better games i played today.

nirvana vs cowboydan pvz, hes #5 atm with an indentical record to mine
here

nirvana vs torch pvt, he has about 70 games played already and was quite decent
here

Awesome. Downloaded 'em both and will commentate when the opportunity arises. Have a ton of stuff to encode right now so might be a few days, but I'll get it done.

My current problem is just macro. I get a ton of money but have a hard time spending it.

I would presume siege tanks would be decent against colossi, but other than that, the big unit (Thors) are pretty expensive.

I have also discovered that the Phoenix is not the ideal anti-air unit. They are pretty expensive in terms of resources and time, especially when compared to mutalisks. Gravity lift (or whatever it's called) is very fun when the opportunity arises to use it, though.

commenting will be awesome! in case you're wondering why i kept making goons at the start in the game vs cowboydan- i was really scared of roach or mutas like most players go.

Siege tanks die like instantly to immortals soo its really hard for terran coz i can just mass immortals and collosues which both come out from the roboctics - well thats what i did in the replay and terran have a very very hard time. the answer might be some terran air unit since toss is weak vs air.

just some thoughts

Ah yeah, immortals. I was playing one game vs a toss earlier and he started making immortals and I was like oh god what do I do what do I do. I was gonna mass vikings but only had two starports and not good enough macro to pull out of that hole.

Vikings may be fairly effective against Colossi, though. I'd say BC's but those are very slow to build. Banshees may work as well since you can cloak them, but sniping observers is harder now I think because vikings aren't as fast.

Dunno. Theorycrafting.

today i jusst found out u can look at units and their counters by pressing f12 in the game lol.
vikings would work i guess cause no robo units can shoot air lol
