So I just purchased: Intel i7 920 (2,66Ghz) Asus P6T SE 6GB OCZ Tri-Channel Ram, 7-7-7-20, 1333Mhz Sparkle 275GTX 896MB GDDR3 This should run Starcraft 2 on full details and 1920x1080. In addition I'll get a 20Mbit/s internet connection next wednesday so there won't be any lag in online play. :-) I'm hyped!    | ||

Geforce 260+ 8GB RAM (yeah, I know, worthless) I wonder if having good specs affects you chance to get selected. I believe they want to get tests from alot of different specs, so if there are few with high-end machines... well you get the picture. | ||

and uh, hes obv excited about getting a new comp that will play Sc2 completly lag-free no problem, I doubt there will be any internet lag issues between europe, north america, just like there aren't any in SC1 between those parts of the world. | ||

Even if someone completely lags out, your connection remains constant. | ||

Even if someone completely lags out, your connection remains constant. the problem will most likely be only for ladder games. so anytime you want to play against your friends or play UMS maps/micro or what not, it's likely they'll be P2P just like in WC3/Starcraft, which if youve played custom games on battle.net there, know all the problems that come along with it (lag! firewall! hosting issues, router issues, did i mention lag, and 1 player lagging or host lagging screws the game for all!) this is one case where I really really reaaaaaaaaaaaally hope I'm wrong | ||
