You are bad but your on the right track; the players who are cheesing you and winning are duplicates of what you described yourself to be before you started laddering for "real". Let go of your pride, you're a noob, you don't need to make excuses why you lost, you just need to take it in stride. Your stats don't matter, the whether you won or lost your last game doesn't matter, just keep playing and keep thinking about your play. You say you lack confidence, that confidence doesn't come from winning, it comes from playing a lot of games until your comfortable in game. We've all been where you've been and it's probably the least pleasant phase of bw development but once you've gotten comfortable; once your a solid D maybe even D+ player the game becomes much more relaxing and enjoyable. gl hf

I played so many games. SOOOOOOOOO many games. i still felt scared. maybe for you, playing gave you confidence. for me, i had to win. until i won, i felt like i was going to lose. im not going to argue about 9pool and i always thought cheese was an easy way to win o_O..

Saturaday was such a goooood day. i was 4-0 on saturday. funny. the terrans ragequit while the zerg ggs. Yesterday, i was 1-1. I didnt lose that badly to a Japanese player and i got a win because a zerg left when i found his third..... today was so horrible i felt like crying. my 5-1 record became 5-7 and i lost to so many shit i was TRAINED to stop. I was ling allined, had a game where the terran threw away all his scvs for a proxy bunker rush... and i lost to D-s and i kept disconnecting when i wanted to play PvZ afterwards. I also only played on my best maps..... HBR and Destination. now its korean times and i cant melee anymore for today or else my 5-7 will get worse and ill be stuck in E rank. tomorrow is a new day. i wonder what Stop being a pussy and man up. If you cant beat D level Koreans then you are not a D level player.

I was able to get to D+ last season but I'm barely keeping myself above 1000 this season... Or maybe I just got worse. FML

today i played a Z who told me he was B+ high protoss then he manner hatched me...i broke it while losing too many marines to bad micro and then he 3 hat linged me and lost everything(~36 lings) to 2 bunkers with firebats =D and a few mnm ofc, i wasnt just playing ridiculously safe for no reason, but i was scouting him for way longer than he should have let me with a scv on his nat ridge @ heartbreak

even if they go like 5 hatch hydra all you have to do is get templars and zealots and you win because they can't dodge storm and macro at the same time D level is soooooo easyy to get through as protoss.

However, you can should take concepts from rush type builds into your longer game plans (such as timing attacks, or hiding tech). Rush builds and longer games are like food: Have your chips once in a while but if you eat too many ull get fat (with losses in this case)

A lot of Zerg are just used to 1) Winning with their first wave of hydras/mutas or 2) Have no idea WTF to do if they dont win with that. For protoss, as the game goes on it gets easier. Take a second expo, push out with a big glob of units, make sure you have obs and watch the zerg QQ. Thats how ZvP for me feels anyway. I'm terrified of the first 10 minutes and then confident as hell after that.

guarantee you'll get at least all their drones and a pool if you get corsairs with the drop guaranteed you'll get the lair and everything in the main. against terran, gas steal them and get 4 goons and then expand. if they go bunker expand just wait for their scvs to repair the bunker to full health and attack it. 90% of the time the scvs won't repair and the bunker will die and you can kill everything he has because his tank will be just started. if he gets 2 barracks simply make cannons. against protoss do 2gate zealot and 90% of the time they'll lose half their probes to it and from their just get a forge, make cannons + expand and defend from all reaver/dt harrass. and then use your 2base to mass tons of goons to rape him. ( this works all the way up to like C , and once in a while once you're like B) the conclusion, PROTOSS IS NOT HARD. and if you really want to get to C/C+ but still kind of suck you can play terran or zerg. terran all you need to do is abuse the fact that all D/D+ protoss like 1a2a3a and streamline their army which will just evaporate to a terran who doesn't have more then 3000 minerals and gas. or vult drop and kill all their probes. Against zerg the easiest strat is to just mass turrets against mutas and watch them try to micro against them and lose all their mutas. and then proceed to 1a2a3a with your mnm army + vessel and tank. For Zerg! this is like the easiest one of them all not including zvz which is a pain in the ass. vs Protoss make 3 sunkens at every base get a normal spire timing, scourge their corsairs and proceed to rape them with some mutas. the protoss will do something dumb such as attack your 3 sunks with 8 +1 attack speedzeals and unless you purposely sabotaged your simcity the attack is sure to fail. D level protoss players like to make 1 cannon and like 4 corsairs and think their safe against mutas, get like 8 scourge and 9 mutas and win the game. if they get archons their building placement will be so bad your mutas will never be able to get hit. Against terran if they go bio you must have semi decent muta micro to win, but if you can must hit 4sm 5sm 6sm while microing mutalisks this will be easy for you. if you are atrocious at muta micro either 1 : switch race or 2: go lurkers and use hold position lurkers 90% of the time they'll walk their mnm force into it and lose the game because they think they're so clever with their genius aggressive strategies. after doing so be prepared to hear some rage because terran players are often the ones who have most trouble getting past D due to lack of sportsmanship and inability to accept that darkswarm and arbiters are balanced. Against Zerg you really just have to learn good muta vs scourge micro and pray to god that you don't get a build order disadvantage. but assuming scourge and build order advantages don't exist. the easiest way to win is wait for them to take their natural hatchery and make sure you have more zerglings. send all your mutas to their main and all your zerglings to their nat, they're bound to lose one and from there the game is yours. I typed all this very fast and did not try to revise anything so excuse me for spelling/grammar errors edit : this is all you need to do to hit C- BUT! you'll have a hardass time winning once these tricks stop working and the people you play start getting good so i advise starting to play standard once you're out of the cheese infested D ranks
