This is an update on this blog post:

So it's not Season 11 (wtf season is it, 14?), but yeah, I made that thread two weeks ago.
I've played eight ladder games so far. Seven of them are in a .rar at the bottom, in case anyone wants to watch a random Protoss player with 110 APM ladder his way up to D+...though on the bright side I'm 8-0 2040 playing standard each game. I can't seem to find my first game.
Lots of people make blogs "zomgz y r ther so many B ranks in D ranks". There aren't any. Even in the early season (like the few days after the ladder resets). I was actually looking forward to playing some B ranks just so I can see how much more I have to improve, but so far the highest player I've encountered was a C rank Terran with a 65% win ratio last season. I've also run into a "C rank Zerg" (though it's doubtful from his play), and numerous C- rank Terrans.
The breakdown is as follows, from previous season records and current season records:
1 D T, 3 C- T's, 1 C T
1 D+ P
1 D Z, 1 "C" (self-professed...on an alt so I couldn't check his ICCup profile) Z.
The new maps are pretty fun. And by "new maps" I mean Fighting Spirit. The rest of the maps are pretty meh. To be honest, I can't wait until Python's a MOTW because it's one of my favorite maps. Whatever.
Interestingly enough, my easiest and most difficult wins have both been against the C players. The easiest win was against the C Terran and the most difficult win was against the "C" Zerg (who raped my main with Mutalisks :/). From his play, the Zerg was more like D+, but he assured me his ICCup high was C with Zerg. Whatever, chatlog's in the replay (against ABCjosef on Fighting Spirit, when he picks Z...the chat log goes something like this:
Him: ICCup high?
Me: D+...what's yours as Z?
Him: C
Me: Uh oh. It's still before 2 minutes so I can still leave for draw, right?
Him: yeah.
Me: whatever. gl hf XD)
The game against the Terran was made into a pictoral battlereport which you should check out. I've been informed it's pretty amusing : http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=108968
I also sometimes go 10/15 on ramped maps against Terran. It's not optimal (actually it's pretty stupid), but some people still stupidly lift their rax before they have enough Tanks to defend and it's gg right there. For example, first game against ABCjosef (when he picks Terran). I've also managed to go 10/15 PvP against worse Protosses. For some reason they always think I have more gates than I do (games against ek.aidan and ABCjosef).
People on ICCup this season are also a lot chattier. It's probably because I'm actually laddering. Usually when I play people it's against people I know, so I don't really chat much, but whatever. It's more fun that way.
Also, I have yet to play any Koreans. Kind of depressing, since I do best against mindless mechanical D+ players who can't deal with anything unexpected (e.g.: Pokebunny). Can't really play straight up as effectively against them, though. I just don't have the mechanics.
As for non-laddering, my most embarrassing loss was against Rage. He was playing pretty poorly, but I had raped his main, had two mining expansions more than he did, and a hefty supply lead. After a series of absolutely retarded attacks, I ended up losing.
Haven't really encountered any difficulties so far on the actual ladder, though. Low level Terran are still the easiest to beat. Zerg aren't that bad. I absolutely despise PvP, though, since I never know what to do. It's even harder than PvZ.
Anyway,
Some statistics of mine:
Lowest average APM: 92
Highest average APM: 117
APM peak over 200?...not yet .
Hotkey percentage: always single digits XD

Thanks for reading and I'll keep you guys updated on my progress.
I hope I stay undefeated through D+
