Building a new budget gaming computer for a friend. Budget for the specified parts is $400 +/- $50, but as cheap as possible would be best. The CPU he wants for sure is the E5200, because of it's amazing overclock potential.
Needs CPU, motherboard, RAM, hard drive, and a case (PSU and video card will be salvaged from previous computer). The computer will be used for gaming, and will be overclocked as much as possible.
CPU $75 - Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 This CPU is VERY overclock friendly, can go from 2.5ghz to 3.8ghz with a better CPU cooler.
Also need a better CPU cooler, Please Recommend
motherboard - undecided, need something with good overclocking support but not too pricey. Please Recommend
RAM - undecided, need something reliable Please Recommend
Hard drive $60 - Western Digital WD5000AAKS Caviar Blue Hard Drive - 500GB
Case ~$60 - Either the Antec 200 or 300, or if there's any other case in this price range worth considering, please suggest

Well... what IS the budget?

If you plan on overclocking i would go with one of those coolers that allow installation of 2x120mm fans, which would greatly increase the amount of overclocking you can do. The cost of the fans can change, but if you want rediculous thermal performance you could always install 2xScythe "Ultra Kaze" fans and enjoy the 80+DB of noise while your processor stays nice and cool.

I think for a low budget gaming computer you should go with a Q6600, though that might be over your budget (unspecified).
And yeah... why not Newegg?

You do realize they don't sell q6600s anymore, right?

I have a used e7200 (2.5 Ghz 3mb cache 45nm) and 2*1GB DDR2 1066 OCZ ram that I want to sell.
I upgraded to a quad core that's why I have old parts.

What is your previous video card? I find it hard to believe that you would need a new gaming computer and not have to upgrade your video card.

The E5200 destroys the AMD X2 processors in all benchmarks after overclocking... so I'll stick with the E5200.

Video card is Nvidia 7950GT, which is decent and will run all current games at low-medium to medium settings fine.
