Just because it's not TLFE-quality writing doesn't mean we can't appreciate this blog writer's view of one moment of passion from a great player who came up short against his greatest rival on one particular night.

I really like the Jaedong vs Flash rivalry. I particularly enjoy the fact that it stems from a level of balance between the players. Both JD and Flash are extremely mechanically proficient players who rarely miss a beat and are immaculate or flawless in terms of ingame actions. I was excited for the OSL match between these titans of modern StarCraft, and subsequently disappointed by the length and leaning of their first game.
As I viewed this thread I became really sad. I like the Jaedong vs Flash matchup and I appreciate and welcome discussion of it. I also consider myself a noob to TL having been posting here for barely a year and half. I feel that this OP could have contained insight into the JDvFlash rivalry. I also hoped that a thread with a topic so open to prolific discussion could contain some insight or perspective that I had not considered. It might have even contained something resembling proper capitalization. But when I clicked on it, you should have seen my face. I was so near to crying, I felt bad for ever clicking on this thread, and I started being angry for ever harboring the curiosity that led me to do so.

When someone wins, someone else is supposed to lose.

I was ofc rooting for Jaedong, but noone can deny flash looked to be a level above him last game, i hope Jd can bring something to the table next match.

I totally know what you're feeling - i felt the same. I love both Flash and JD, last season when Flash was only in GOM i was cheering for JD in other individual leagues.
I'd like them to play some kinda "friendly BO5/BO7" someday

The day that every single fucking thread on TL contains as much information as you suggest is the day the internet implodes. Christ, who gives a shit.

"Terran is fair" - Albert Einstein Okay... it was ret.
The match itself was both disappointing and amazing. I was pretty sad after the match as a huge Jaedong fan but... I started following professional scene when the little monster started to reap everyone apart so it`s fantastic to see him put up by far the closest to perfection Starcraft play up to date... yet again.
Hopefully he can take some more titles soon because he definitely is the one deserving it.

i would like to write more, but since my english just blows i dont do it. the people who have english as there 1st language can do that job better than me. i can write u 2more sites on german why i feel sad for JD. that i always thought he is just a nerd who plays 24/7 with the aim to destroy everyone and flash is like my little brother and u just have to like him and such things but u wont understand it since it would be on german and this is an english site.

I know what you mean. It's like, you are rooting for someone to crush the opponent so hard cuz you know the opponent is strong and can take it, but then when he actually crushes him so hard you are in shock about it and feel guilty and bad. And then when the person getting crushed shows sad emotions you feel even worse...as though you were the one to cause them. Ya..I guess I kinda felt something like that. You feel bad for them even though you wanted them to be crushed so hard with a hammer 1000000000 times to the head. Sigh.

lol cute op.
they say no one practices harder than jaedong. except flash. or was it the other way around?
either way i expect nothing but the best next week, with both players respectively putting in over 100 hours practice time to beat their rival on Christmas day

lol for someone with english as a not-first language, you have a pretty good command of the slang. "fuck him flash. fuck him for the T race" lol

i dont know wtf you people are talking about, Jaedong was nowhere near crying, He just looked tired, and all this talk about flash being a lvl above jadeong or whoever is bullshit. It was a straight-up build order loss, If you go 3 hatch and then sunks you cant defend a 3d base against a terran strategy that was made specifficaly to deny a 3d base, The game was over when jaedong had to cancel his 3d base for the first time, the rest of it he played while seriously behind and thats why it looked so onesided, the match doesn't mean very much and is not indicative of anything(excpet that flash makes very few mistakes), If flash wins the next game in simillarly dominant fashion then i'm going to be impressed. For now it's just a well executed strategy against a tired-looking jaedong
