1. Choose two organic compounds featured in two separate news articles that have appeared in 2009 (not chemistry journals). 2. Attach a copy of each news article. 3. For each compound, write the name of the compound as provided in the news, and DRAW the correct chemical structure. You may not use a computer-generated structure. 4. Also, oddly enough, unlike most people, I really enjoyed physical chemistry over organic chemistry. I think part of that had to do with the fact that I had a really good professor and the fact that physical chemistry puts a lot of other parts of chemistry into perspective. | ||

The reason why I think it's hard for most people is because it's completely new material. With Bio/Chem/Physics you probably have some background from high school. But with orgo you're just learning totally new material for a semester and people aren't used to that. They need different ways of thinking/ | ||
