I have to say I have never liked Musicals I think the only musicals I remember seeing are the Wizard of Oz, and The Sky's the Limit. But during a sleepless night this came on on one of the Starz channels and thought it was a great movie.
Basically it's a musical and all the songs are songs that originate from the Beatles and I liked how the songs helped progress the story and I have to say I was impressed by the choreography as well. The story revolves two people a guy named Jude(Hey Jude) and Lucy(Lucy in the sky with Diamonds) and also the turbulent years of the 60's and the Vietnam war. My favorite part of the film is when Jude busts in and starts singing Revolution.
I think the whole movie is up on You Tube, but don't expect it to be up for very long.
