As a person, I don't know what type of potential the pot would bring to be? Will I become a very good lyricist or I will create beautiful poetry from taken from the depths of my intangible mind? I do not know but I want to experiment with my life for the mean time.
May I ask? what are the pro's and con's of smoking pot? As far as I can tell the problem is that I don't have enough food in my fridge and I'm already lazy that this might make my life really fucked up in away that I'm completely oblivious with my surroundings and all I can think of is washing the drug induced veins of my body.
But besides that, my friend tells me that being baked is really awesome at times and he is will to provide me a few of his cleverly hidden stash.

Sorry, marijuana isn't a miracle drug. You won't spontaneously develop writing or musical skills by smoking. You will most likely smoke your first bowl then make a blog post about the universe and how you discovered the meaning to mankind.
You ask about the pro's of smoking pot. It makes things fun, that's it. As far as cleaning it out of your system, the only for sure way is to stop smoking for a period of time. If you know you're getting drug tested for a "once in a lifetime" job I don't see how you can even consider the idea of experimenting with drugs.
To clean your system drink a lot of water and pee a lot. But please, if you have a job interview coming up in < 3 weeks, don't take this type of risk. In all reality it should be gone within a week since you haven't smoked before, but losing a job opp. because of drugs is really fucking lame.
Pot affects different people differently. My girl gets really hyper/talkative and I tend to be very introverted and just want to watch movies or draw. You're not going to know until you smoke.
And I agree with Snet -- dope isn't going to make you more creative or more talented. It may help stimulate you if you've got writer's block, but it's not going to make you all of the sudden know how to write beautiful lyrics.

How old are you?
As far as the effects for you, you'll probably just get lazy and have the munchies. Weed is all about what you make of it, and for me, it's a miracle drug. You can't expect the time of your life, really. Also, you might not want to give up on it the first time, I didn't actually get an enjoyable high until about my 3rd time smoking. I havn't smoked in about a month now, but I really miss it just because it was the best depression therapy I'd ever had, and sometimes I just need to toke. But whatever, nobody cares about that.
If you're getting drug tested, why the fuck would you smoke now? Conventionally, it would take about a month (probably less) to be in the clear for a piss test. Although, you can cut that down to less than a week by taking 100mg Niacin pill in the morning/afternoon, drink alot of water/green tea. You'll feel like shit, but hey, you're choice.
Also, no need to rush into wanting to become a pothead or anything, you don't even know what it's like yet. Just chill with your friend and smoke out about 2 or 3 times, see how it goes from there. If you like it enough to put down the money/slight risk to start recreationally smoking, then go ahead brother. Just don't be so excited for it, you'll probably be let down anyway : ]

It affects everyone differently. You can have tons of people saying 'oh well i do it every day and im a nobel laureate' . And some people like a guy I know was going to be a world class cyclist but then he started smoking weed and lost all motivation to do everything and his life went no where. So however you want to go with it.
