http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/beta m-w pronounces it as "bey-tah", but shouldnt it be just "beh-tah"? just as "data" "day-tah" is so startrekish :-) | ||

But really if you speak English you don't really need to worry about how to pronounce crap cause it's such a weird language :p EDIT: I can see how someone might pronounce it beh-tah, but who pronouces it bee-tah? o.O | ||
