If the type of person you are referring to says it in the way you mentioned (ie. "MAN DIS IS REAL HIP HOP YO I ONLY LISTEN TO DA REAL SHIT"), then yeah, I can see where you're coming from, but other than that, I can completely understand the frustration a lot of people who actually do listen to (and appreciate) real Hip Hop experience when faced with the pop nonsense of today and see it being falsely branded as Hip Hop.
