Recently I've been surfing NicoNico (a video streaming site like YouTube but so much better) and I've seen so many amazing things, particularly song covers and self-written music (made with Vocaloid) @ @

These are youtube links but the videos originated from NicoNico (TL doesn't embed nico videos ._.)

Basically random people who don't know each other each record an instrumental part for a song by themselves and put them all together...the results are nothing short of amazing.

well what I can add that if you are a fighting game fan you absolutely MUST make a nico account.
The best and most matches are there. You can learn a lot by watching them. The videos on youtube are just stolen from here.

I used to frequent nico, but i don't know whats up with the endless amount of text spam over videos i get. Anyone know whats going on with that?

Pretty sure you can turn that off

It's comments from the other users. The comment system is actually times, so you can comment regarding a specific moment in the video. For example, if you watch a silly mario hack video, where the player dies constantly, you'll see "wwwwwwww" spam when a particularly funny death happens. ("wwwwwww" = lol in japanese).

Yeah, it can be turned off. Look for a button in the video player window.
