Questioon about painting MDF.

Demoninja United States1190 Posts August 23 2009 16:51 GMT #1 Okay I had a few questions about this. 1. What do you guys think the best sealer for MDF is? Should I use spackling paste, bondo, or wood filler? 2. This guide I'm reading says to use a high solids filler one. What's the difference between high solids filler primer and regular primer? Can you recommend a good brand for the high solids filler primer? 3. When painting MDF to a mirror finish, I read that a darker color would provide better results. Would it still look alright if I used something really light like a silver? 4. Where can I buy this stuff and some hi gloss black paint+clear coat? Edit: Oh damn two o's in question fail. I realized I should actually tell you guys what I'm trying to do. What I'm trying to do is paint the MDF so that it has a mirror finish.
