I think a few years ago during debates some people were griping that quality decreased. There is a lot more spam-like posting. I didn't say there should be no standards, but I wanted to thank the mods because I know not everyone likes reading (or having to skip) pages of context-less reaction posts. It's sort of like the thread on election night-- it's less cerebral . | ||

What is your problem? The thread exploded, mainly with one-liners that didn't make any sense if you weren't watching the debate. That kinda non-informative post is generally frowned upon in the thread and can net you a warning... make enough of them and you get a ban. As opposed to in the live reporting threads for when tournaments are on. All that was said, was that he enjoyed that people were allowed to make this type of one-liner. Which makes sense. Also to me, and I didn't watch either of the debates, saw 200 new posts and didn't really understand any of it. But I for one didn't really care. I just skipped to the end of it... Anyway, there's really no need to get all aggressive about it. | ||

Acrofales has it. Maybe I don't know the moderation standards as well I as I think I do, but most of the posts made during the debates wouldn't be allowed in the thread normally. Nowadays if you post a seemingly self-explanatory tweet you can get a warning if you don't preface it first. Examples of probably-not-allowed-in-normal-contexts: most of this page and the one after it. And perhaps you don't intend it, but your posts here are coming off as strangely aggressive. | ||

Btw, I have no context for whatever danglars just wrote. Whatever it is, it's typical of the now rather laxer US Pol moderating standards towards those who post like danglars and his ilk, possibly becuase everytime moderation is enforced consistently, they complain that they are unfairly targeted for "bias". | ||

"team evil" "he'd support child rape" "he'd support the holocaust" But no they are the ones in the moral high ground you see they have the correct ideas. I'm sure the mods will get to the report when they wake up and action him properly. No one wants the thread to degrade that far. If biff is allowed this xdaunt is perfectly in line with saying that people who support open borders (indirectly or not) support the same rape and murder that human traffickers are encouraged by their opinions.
