Advocating for ethnic cleansing should never have been allowed to be discussed on TL. We don't condone people posting about how one race is superior to others. If posts like that in the past went by with no actions then that means that we were negligent in our moderation duties. But of course, that is precisely why we are working harder than ever before to be on top of our moderation work for threads in "General". | ||

I ask because the thread currently lists sk.testie as threadbanned, and i'm pretty sure it's been like that for awhile; and he posted in the thread a couple hours ago. I thought a threadban prevented the user from posting in the thread at all (i.e. the forum code simply wouldn't let them make a post in the thread at all, as i've seen other forums that have that capability). | ||

In a way he is right though, there does seem to be less of a "right view" posting since Danglars was banned, though the quality of posting and more fresh voices have gone up. And by "right view" I mean Trump cheerleading. | ||

It's more of a case that TL, in all of its wisdom has decided that it is worth it to keep him around in TL despite all that. Still, it would be nice if he didn't occassionally dip into the other Pol threads. | ||

If you wish to be unbanned, you need to post a thread under Website Feedback explaining your position and convince the moderation staff that you deserve another chance. We will not just unban you because a year has passed since your last ban. | ||

Finally, the mod team realized that he was never going to change and that he would continue to spread negative influence all over TL if we didn't shut him down. So, unfortunately, we had to drop the hammer. | ||

And sure, since this is a gaming forum with a younger audience (Younger people tend to lean more left than older), there is always going to be a bit of left leaning here. But once the current administration leaves office (And after whatever reform which is inevitably going to happen afterwards), it should even out a little bit once the usual right siders has a reasonable party to support again. | ||
