I just don't get it, why somebody feels to need to fight stuff just because he doesn't like it. Yes, the mods have all the right to do it on their website, that doesn't mean it isn't completely moronic. edit: honestly, if you want to ban him, do it for the shit he is giving ninazerg (as she doesn't seem very amused), but not just for "rambling" | ||

His blogs are entertaining at the least, stupid as they are. I disagree with the idea of banning yoko for "rambling", as it seems like an excuse to ban him just for disagreeing with him (Even if 99% of people probably do). Why ban someone that makes TL a more entertaining place? | ||

The idea that a post just "deserves a ban" as some kind of moral imperative is completely ridiculous and anyone who thinks that probably spends too much time in the bubble of TL and loses touch with reality. TL is (hopefully) not supposed to be a contest in staying unbanned, but a place for discussion. If something does not hurt the discussion (and TL in general, as would for example a blog advertising illegal activities etc..), what is the point in banning it? Banning people just because "they deserve it" is childish and laughable. Again, I am not disputing that Chill can ban Yokokano. However I am arguing that he shoudln't. I don't feel inferior as a human being to him because he is a mod on an internet forum and I am not, thus I don't see a problem in telling him publicly my opinion. He (or other people in charge of that decision) can do whatever they wish with my opinion. | ||

That is not, and has not been TL's policy regarding blogs. Blogs are moderated less strictly than other forum sections (at least, on the part of the OP), but basic standards for thread creation are still in effect. If someone is frequently posting gibberish blogs, they will be asked to stop. If they keep doing it, they will be moderated. If they want to blog about gibberish they should do it on another site. | ||

personally for me i dont find him funny at all, if he was a rambling friend instead of like a laughable slap on the back you give a friend and say "oh you're so silly hahah" its more of a "did he put the weed up his butt what the hell is wrong with him" kind of response when you read the blogs | ||
