I'm not sure why you would want to do exactly that, or the need for such a solution, but perhaps e-mailing an admin regarding the situation and giving a good, reasonable explanation as to why you would want to do such a thing?

My reasons are my own, and other than the request to remove my personal information no explanation should be required. I have already emailed an admin as per much a kinder suggestion in the first thread I created, thank you.

I'm really surprised you care so much about your "profile" when it doesn't do anything or your email which does less. There are far worse things that are kept online without needing a special case just for yourself.

The cops can really nail you on a drug charge with that the admins really need to remove your trivial information that can't be traced to you while they keep the ip address's that you've logged into tl with. There is no solution to your problem. You should change your attitude. Asserting your rights in a demanding fashion achieves less of what you now know you can't do anyways.

Or pretend to be an advertising bot and get your account banned or something. lol you probably shouldn't be suggesting people pretend to be bots Jono Your suggestion of changing the e-mail is the best thing he can do. At least this way he doesn't get e-mails (even though TL sends out e-mails like once per two years)

And if the answer is can't because that's just how the website works, why has no one found it important enough to fix?

IMO TL should at least remove the email address, age and logged IPs and PMs that the other side has already deleted. Removing the nickname is a complicated issue, and depends on the uniqueness of that nick. Forum posts on the other hand usually don't need to be removed, but it might be necessary to remove personal information from them.

As for the OP, well, he kind of reminds me of this one time when I was 10 years old, and a very scared looking white guy holding a grocery bag showed up at my door. He asked me where the nearest supermarket was, in english. I told him I didn't know. He looked bewildered and confused before he said goodbye and left.

When I get extradited to Germany I'll use it as an excuse to visit German TLers XD
