Avilo

1) Great foreigner that interacts with the viewers. We have a core of 200-300 that watch him ladder and he's been up to 300-500 with his long runs into the EU playhem tournaments.

2) He's not another 1 base cheese/troll streamer (Dragon/ForGG) and it's tough as a Terran to find a solid, CONSISTENT streamer that is offering commentary. Dragon is good and all, but playing as random, trolling, etc. offers nothing for learning. ForGG is just 1 base cheese that is insanely fun to watch, but again, you don't learn much from it. Demuslim, Select, etc. are all inconsistent in stream timing, Kas/BeastyQT are boring as all hell with nothing to offer for commentary (no offense to their fans). Sterling and Trump are very comparable with the viewer/stream interaction and commentary. Sterling was featured in the past and Trump has been featured for a while. I feel they give a baseline on what to expect with Avilo, though his personality, attitude, etc. varies greatly from Trump and Sterling obviously. Just a starting point for comparison if you want a feel of what to expect.

3) He wears awesome head gear (bandanas, crazy hats, etc.)

4) High skill level (GM)

5) Has a personality and interacts with viewers well.

6) Blah blah blah repeating myself, but I've been following him the last week per a Reddit suggestion of people's favorite unknown streamer and have not regretted the choice to start watching Avilo one bit.

Why avilo should be featured for SC2:

1. avilo channel avgerages viewership of 200+. It even hit 300+ during some days/nights
2. Entertaining... Lots of fun in his channel, including funny hatwear, epic music, epicsaxguy, epic dancing... It's seriously the funnest stream to watch.
3. Skill level. A very high skill level, not only in mech play but also bio. His nuke play is also incredible, late game BCs... you seriously never see this stuff on other streams... which brings me to the next point.
4. UNIQUE gameplay style.
5. Good moderation. The mods are not cranky and ban happy like the other streams. They enjoy freedom of speech. No angry streamer in here for the most part, he just laughs at the BM in chat and keeps on going with his play.
6. Steady streaming. Avilo streams steadily and for long periods of time. This is very important to get viewers. He averages 8 hours a day at least!
7. highly ranked GM
8. Very good person for viewers to learn from. His play is mostly for late games, making it a very good stream for new and old terrans to learn from.

Please consider avilo, he puts so much time into this game and his stream and it would benefit the community.

Any word for Up - Downs for January?
Hashe should be up for consideration - he streams lessons, and always commentates, especially new builds he works on! Not to mention great music (no K-Pop here)!

Avilo
1:Very interactive with his viewers, and typical gets 200+
2: Unique personality that is quite rare to find.
3: Very polite chat moderated wonderfully, with good moderator interaction as well.
4: Skill level is, High level, and easy to follow and understand, while also incorporating some off the wall improvised builds. Example, Late game Battlecruiser ghost vs EVERY race.
5: Streams any coaching session he is hired for,not only does he share with his viewers, but he specifically won't be satisfied with his job until the person he coaches gets promoted higher.
6: Very vocal, easily understandable and chatty. again making the viewer interaction that much more enjoyable.
7: Funny, his personality is just awesome. and even when he rants, their hilarious, (especially his rant on protoss! ;P)
8: I'll end it off with, he's very underated for the content he puts out, he streams VERY often with VERY enjoyable content EVERY time. i can't stress this enough, this guy is so dedicated to his stream that his father took it away, and he streamed from a Coffee shops free wireless. It may not have been long, but he did it. If that's not dedication, i don't know what is.

I seriously hope you consider featuring him. he has so much compassion and love for the community, and it shows in his streams. he is a wonderful bonus to the community.

Avilo should be featured again.

I'm fairly new to the SC2 community and am not good, but I happily discovered Avilo's stream due to its featured status one day when there were no other GM terran-streamers to be found. Having a player like Avilo to watch inspires me to continue playing and improving while also enjoying the game - he's played thousands, probably tens-of-thousands of games and he still has fun while caring deeply about how he plays in each and every match. Inspiring stuff.

As for why his stream is above average:
+ Show Spoiler +

1) He commentates ALWAYS

2) He interacts with chat and answers every question with objective consideration
-this includes replay analysis which is hugely beneficial to "lower-echelon" players like myself

3) He plays in online tournaments on a daily basis and updates viewers with an active twitter account

4) He's recently signed with a team and his practice/stream time has increased further still

5) 720+ definition, sooo much better than most "pros" who don't consider the quality of their stream for viewers

6) He goes Mech vs Protoss... nuff' said. ;-)

Many other reasons could be listed but you get the idea - I like his stream and recommend it to all players of all levels, especially those who struggle with transitions to late game. Thanks for your time

megumixbear:

It's a fun stream to watch with a high master's female player in a male dominated game that gets a lot of viewers. This alone should be enough. The fact that she was featured before for a while indicates to me that she was removed due to personal sentiments of some of the mods towards her.

If you make a vote whether she should be featured or not you will see that the vast majority of people on TL wants her to be on the list. Listen to the hand that feeds you - your "userbase" and make her featured yet again.

Please re-feature, megumixbear. She's been averaging about 500 viewers lately and hot bid said earlier 300 viewers average was a benchmark for being under consideration for being featured. Her stream is super mannered and entertaining and has pros like dde/strifecro drop by a lot and a wild day9 appears now and then.

Plus, she runs her bearcups using her own money for the prizepool and recently upped the NA/GM bearcup from $50 to $100. The amount of money she's spent on her tournaments and sending out bearpacks to places like iceland is quite admirable and impressive.

I think she deserves to be in the "Others" category at least because she's basically a personality in the sc2 scene doing interviews at ipl 3 and again at ipl 4. Also casting at one of the SoCal lans recently. The bear deserves another shot at being featured.

Feature Boyo!
He is currently rank 1 grandmaster but doesn't get as much exposure as he deserves for his level of play.
Lots of great results in local and online tournaments too

I agree. HasHe easily pulls enough viewers to be featured. Great Grandmaster terran, not to mention he's super manner.

Also has killer music imo.

HasHe used to be featured. I don't know what the original criterion was for getting featured, for whatever reason HasHe fell off the cliff and is now non-featured. I understand there are criteria, there have to be. I also understand that there are community considerations that TL looks at.

Here is mine: HasHe plays consistently, plays well and educates his audience. Not all featured do that; most, perhaps, but not all. Then there is Hashe's obvious passion for the game and the scene. Tonight he played 4 games against TSLPolt, so paired one after another by battle.net. HasHe lost all of them, but put up great fights, and in the last game, a real Code S performance. Not one bad word, not one frustration move, just all passion and fun. Players like that are rare and deserve to be elevated. Please consider featuring HasHe for being not just a good player, but a good influence on us, the lesser scrubs who come to learn.

megumixbear needs to be re-featured.

she's got the monthly bearcup for NA and EU that she sponsors herself, plus it's really cool watching day9 coaching her on stream, pretty neat. don't get that anywhere else

Feature megumixbear :D

She interracts well with audience/viewers, and is probably one of the only few female gamers that is high/top masters. she holds bear cups monthly, and is generally just fun to watch. I'm not too sure why she is no longer featured when she used to be, but she definetely deserves to be back up there

It's 3:42 here, Megumixbear have almost 600 viewers, it's almost more than every FT tl. members at this point of the day.
Bearcup, fanlist is pretty huge, always 300+ viewers, people/mods helps on the chat if theres questions, legit gaming.

and now, she's devoted to SC2 because:
1- look how many time she's online playing, it's like 3-4 times a WEEK!!!
2- if she's not playing, she's setting bearcups up
3- Every1 should love bearcups.

thats all I have to say.

Megumixbear - Not only because she eats alot of cute candy on stream and has bearcups.
Just the fact that this is one off the better learning streams for the whole community. mainly terran players but aswell zerg and protoss can learn a whole lot here.

Hosts her own tournaments, chats with the viewers a whole lot, does things just for the viewers, gives free lessons if your ice enough, I could just keep giving reasons why Megumi should be featured.

Hashe - Just because he is darn awesome and you all know it.
Don't worry, that's halo!

Megumixbear sets such a great example for the starcraft 2 community. She's an excellent player (top 8 masters), hosts 4 tournaments a month (sponsored with her own money), and it one of the most interactive streamers. Megumi is one of the kindest people you will see streaming on TL. Her viewers are also very courteous and friendly. The stream is just a great place to hangout.
It would be a shame if someone missed this stream because she wasn't featured.

Yeh definately megumixbear should be featured.

She actually hosts many tournaments for the community with prizes and you also see day9 and other high level players coaching or sparring with her which makes her stream very unique.

Please feature XpecIMHui.

He is a Taiwanese progamer participating in the Taiwanese eSports League (TeSL) and a very skilled protoss player. His stream already has thousands of viewers (2k at the moment), he's very funny, and he interacts with both Taiwanese and english audiences very well. It's a great opportunity for the SC2 community to know more about SC2 in Taiwan, and a great chance to meet a nice and humorous guy (not to mention good looking and gosu =P)!

Stream: http://hui379.com/

Edit: Hui has beat Sen a few times in TeSL matches, that's how good he is!
