Q Thoughts on returning to the MSL?
A Getting into the MSL is a given, so winning because of that is nothing worth being happy about. I won't be eliminated embarrassingly like last season, I will work hard to regain the seeded spot.
Q Your management against Food5 was solid.
A I don't know what my opponent's style is like, so I chose to play safe. I heard that his PvT is pretty good so I thought I'd best play management. I'm confident that I won't lose in a contest of skill so I prepared to play a management game.
Q The Winner's match only took 5 minutes to decide.
A Midas hyung just loves to 14CC when playing against me, so I decided to proxy barrack him.
Q What were your thoughts after watching the MSL final last season?
A Actually I didn't bother to watch either of the two finals (laugh). I heard that it's my first time playing in the MST since a year before, so it was abit awkward playing today. Right now im determined to never play MST ever again.
Q After losing to Tyson you seem to play alot more conservative against Food5.
A It was due to the map. The game against Tyson was played on Bloody Ridge, terran cannot win if they do not destroy the opponent with an initial push, so I had to play that way. On Circuit Breaker terrran won't lose if they play defensive.
Q Was it regretful that your team's winning streak has ended?
A It was indeed regretful, but the team is still under a good atmosphere. We all knew that the streak will end eventually, so it wasn't a huge problem.
Q Any final thoughts?
A It's been several months since I last posted message on fan cafe and Cinside. I should have informed my fans about the condition of my wrist, but I never had the chance to. I hope to tell them through this interview that it has already been scanned, and there are no major problems. I hope the fans aren't too worried about my wrist. Coach Lee has been taking care of me tirelessly, he took me to the hospital even when he had a break, it must have been hard on him and the team's medical staff also went with me. I just have to work abit on my wrist and it will recover fully, and I have been in good mood lately.

- Thoughts on returning to the MSL after 2 seasons?
▲ Extremely happy. I think my group is very difficult to play in, but the result was fairly satisfactory. I don't like terrans, so I felt that this MST is hard. Although there is a new player but there are also 2 terrans, so the pressure was high on me. Flash is hard to beat for anybody, and Midas hyung is an excellent terran, so it was a difficult task.
- You lost in your first game against Midas.
▲ Midas hyung usually likes to go fast rax, and it's troublesome to deal with. So I ended up getting pool first and it affected me alot. Plus my mutas suffered heavy casualty, so I was very disadvantaged early in the game.
- You defeated Food5 fairly easily.
▲ It feels like the new player is not familiar with a televised match, that's probably why I won easily.
- What about your final match against Midas?
▲ We started out even in the early game, but after doing significant damage with lurkers I thought I could win it. Getting fast 4 gas won me the game, as long as I'm careful dealing with drops.
- It's your 5th time in the MSL, this MSL must look different to you than before.
▲ As long as I don't have to play against teammates, I'm pretty keen on showing myself a little (laugh). Last time I had to play Fantasy in both leagues, and both ended in my elimination. This season I just hope I don't have to play him again (laugh). If it is not terran, I'm fairly confident to play against any of my team mates.
- Any final words?
▲ Counselor Josugyeong gave me alot of good advice during psychological counseling, and it helped me qualify today. I went to him for consultation yesterday too and I really want to thank him. Also I want to thank Mercury for helping me practice.
