I want to get a mechanical keyboard, but Filco apparently doesn't use those switches anymore, blue switches make a lot of noise (which I don't want) and blacks don't have tactility and require tons of force (I really like the look of the Steel series 6Gv2 but I'd rather not gamble on it with the blacks).

Although, I'd love to get my hands on either Logitech Deluxe 250 Keyboard or Logitech Classic Keyboard 200. Would anyone recommend those?

You can hear them when I stream + Show Spoiler + Bought it through J-Goods service, total came to around $160. I couldn't wait for Elitekeyboards's Leopolds, but this is identical.

However, I'm soon to be using a Filco Cherry MX Brown Tenkeyless ordered from PCHome over in Taiwan! They have an awesome deal going on where it's only $10 shipping to anywhere in the United States. If you can't wait for EliteKeyboards to get the Leopolds in stock, I'd say bite on this deal and go get a Filco while you still can! Here's a link to the Tenkeyless browns: http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func=exhibit&IT_NO=DCAH0X-A50475777&c=A05&tm=u And a guide from Geekhack to help you purchase a keyboard from PCHome if you're interested: http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=12854 Hope this helps!

I had some xtra money burning a hole in my pocket. It wasnt even my 1st or 2nd choice. But now that I have it, I absolutely love it. But I did not like the color changing macros and alerts, they were too distracting. So I just have the keys lit blue.

Blacks are not that bad i'm on a g6 right now and the one thing i dont like about it playing any fps or like wow or anything hurts after a few hours, also it's hard to type on keys that are not black switches, because there so easy to press.

Kinda makes me feel sad for a 120euro keyboard to lose the color in a couple of weeks, gonna be looking for new keys prety soon. What you get from lasered keys which are non coated. Use isopropyl 99% to clean them and it will look as good as new again.
