Foxt was just temp banned for 2 weeks by boesthius.
That account was created on 2010-12-19 03:22:35 and had 173 posts.
Reason: You either don't understand what it means by stop making bad threads, or you're a really bad troll. Either way you're just buffing my ban list. Boes on a rampage right now. O_O

I suppose he was replying to "I can only play 2-3 games per day!" thread #6122 but somehow ended up replying in the wrong tab.

I love looking at most bans that have funny reasons why they get banned. O the wonderful sight of bans makes me giggle and cringe at the same time which is why i love the ban list

What a dumb douchebag.
At first, I thought the ban was referring to the TL user Ace, but no, it seems Manifesto is just displaying his vaunted wit once more. Good show.

...and counting?
Seems like that thread is quite the bug zapper.

He's just making sure he doesn't lose his position of issuing >90% of TL's bans.

Thank god he finally closed the dark side thread -_-

Manifesto just closed off a kpop-hatred thread which morti emulates, pretty funny imo

Manifesto is on a banning spree! This is not a good time for low-quality posters, I advise to stay low until his rage concedes.
Seriously though I went to the automated ban list thread as usual and saw like almost 20 bans made by him in a period of 4/5 hours, insane!

As if senseless country bashing didn't already lead to an insta-ban, the irony is just the best of icing for the ban cake.

While I don't really get Mani's ban reason, that post was especially appalling coming from a German person. A country where social responsibility and volunteer social action is pretty much nonexistent, especially compared to the United States.

I really wonder why Husky's SCV Love Song still isn't closed or at least stricter moderated? It's just gotten to a fanboy war where neither site is going to concede.

as far as i can see, germany had social security as early as 1883/1889 while the us introduced it in 1935. while i agree that the country bashing warrants a ban, a little less bitterness in the ban reason (or at least "educated" bickering) would be... preferable.

Well, in terms of social security Germany did implement it nearly half a century before the USA, but I get what you mean.
Edit:

Mani is referring to what was going on in Germany while the USA was implementing social security (hint: 1935).

i am aware, hence my comment. i dont think its adequate to make a nazi comment when banning someone for something minor just because the two can somehow be seen in relation. not because i am german, but simply because it is tasteless. you wouldnt joke about cancer that easily either, just to give a relevant example.

I wasn't making a joke, and I wasn't commenting on German social security. What I was trying to point out was that one shouldn't through stones in glass houses. A little over the top perhaps, but the smugness of the line deserved it.
