he has a shot at ro4 again at least this season if he can show a level of play close to the one he had last season, the upsets have cleaned up the contenders list quite a bit

Yeah, also PvZ in Korea seems to have heavily shifted towards protoss favor. Except Maru I dont see a player there who I would confidently say he is that much better than Creator and can have a clear win against him, all close matches so he definitely has a shot at another deep run.

PvZ has definitely shifted, but I still find it hard to imagine a Protoss (other than herO) taking down Dark in the playoffs. I think you're right overall though, Creator is either favored or even with everyone except Dark/Maru.
Interesting group, I am expecting Maru and herO to come out of group A, and the other 3 fight for the 3rd spot. Group B seems to be hand-picked for Dark, as he should be favorite against everyone else in that group. I think that Creator and Bunny will make it to Ro6 but wont be shocked otherwise.
I think soO got a very good group because PvZ has shifted towards P in Korea indeed, but if anyone can do well vs that gateway army brawl style, it's soO. Imagine if soO goes to another finals. I'd be losing it !

The way he's been playing lately, I wouldn't favour Dark against anyone. Although he can always turn it up at any time, I suppose.

that would at least be the best chance we can get for a Protoss GSL champion.

Ah, if only Trap had qualified... Imagine a Trap - soO finals : as soon as g1 start, the universe melts.

same : I wouldn't really favour him with the form he's been showing in recent weeks, but I'm very careful because I know he can come up with championship form out of nowhere sometimes. Maru was definitely more convincing.
Wow, very fortunate that Ragnarok got out on winner's side and dark got out on loser's side, so it balances out for Creator. Not that Ragnarok is bad though, but better than if he got say both Dark and Maru lol. Man these groups look tough, Cure could always play well, Bunny if he can keep his form from that season where he was the furthest Terran can do really well. Creator is going to really have to fight... But I won't forget, he DID play amazingly last season, and he's still looking bright and sharp this season!
Also it's really cool to see Ragnarok doing so well and be T1 hahaha. Back then it always seemed like he was that guy who barely got into Code S and would always do kinda decent but get knocked out, and his play was unforgettable. But now, he looks like he has that winner's edge.
Creator's macro games look really scary honestly, it's scary that both his timings and his macro play look so strong.
Is there a spoiler free way to check matchups and links to vods etc. after the event has already happened? Liquipedia posts the results basically immediately after, and GSL always airs while I'm at work. I want to know who plays but be clueless about the results until I've watched the thing
