- I did not know that Shyv E in Dragon form had a scaling radius.
- Twitch AP buffs, this is such a troll change. Don't think anyone seriously builds Rageblade on him because his passive isn't as powerful as Vayne/Kog, you typically go BotRK into crit, or just straight into crit. At least the ult got a buff.
- Guardian nerf is pretty huge, it lost like 25% of it's shielding power.
- Another Ezreal skin, the money machine is still running.

Nobody understood shyv's E radius and I can't blame them. hoping you can acutally see it now, but I'll curb my enthusiasm.
Is Ahri actually buffed? I know it's supposed to be one but 1) it didn't fix any of her issues imo 2) the movespeed is a sidegrade and now tied to her worst skill 3) with increased CD and mana cost, W is still her worst skill 4) random health regen nerf when it's now less consistent to heal with passive too, since W or E (worst case) can eat up the heal passive now idk feels like a nerf or at best a side-grade. I guess you can cast W without targets for the MS so you can get back to feeding faster.

As for tft, i find it really weird that they put such a crazy galaxy in such an anemic patch at the tail end of the set... not sure what the goal is here.

- Ahri no longer gains 20% bonus movement speed for 3 seconds when she lands 2 ability hits against a champion within 1.5 seconds - W now grants a burst of 40% movement speed decaying over 1.5 seconds at cast
I think it's an improvement, not a sidegrade. Her W is still her worst skill, but it's actually useful now, which justifies giving it a higher cost. With that said, I agree that the changes didn't fix any of her issues, unless being unable to reliably last hit with W counts as one.

Ahri mana costs are still too high for their use case. Maybe the W can improve her last hit enough to give her enough waveclear early to push without wasting all her mana.

Ahri is a budget LB, you won't be seeing her in competitive with these buffs, or even high elo. Her biggest weaknesses remain, namely low kill potential without ult and poor scaling (Ahri needs her full combo, so 3 ult procs, to kill an ADC lategame, that's like 4+ seconds of combat): if she falls behind she becomes super useless. Mana costs are high, that is true
She has such poor numbers because her ultimate is incredibly powerful, sure she can't blow you up in 1s but it's hard to escape from a fed Ahri with 3 dashes. Remember when Faker dumpstered entire teams with her? So they nerfed every single number on her, and now she's inferior to new champions.

Been playing some Set 4 TFT on pbe, and legit I hate the chosen mechanic. I think it's supposed to make you do different stuff every game and not follow guides, but as someone who always kind of plays what the lobby gives me, really it just kind of hamstrings you; if you don't pick the early game chosen you just hard lose streak all game, and a lot of times you can't just play a comp around your chosen because it's highly contested.
It feels a lot like a lot of times you don't really have a winning option, or alternatively if you get a strong early carry you're just kind of guaranteed top 2.
Mages also need some clear rework or rebalancing. Annie for example is literally unkillable with double cast. 2* Annie with a single defensive item and 3 mages ends up legit finishing every fight with a 2k shield from the front line. Lol. Then Ahri legit one shots stuff all game.
Also, 5cost units suck compared to set 3. I had a 3star Sett and legit got 4th.

I'm a bit torn about the chosen mechanic too, you can chance into some rediculous early game with it or just get completely fucked over if you find horrible chosens while an opponents find strong. They can lead to some pretty interesting games tho.
I kind of like the 5cost units arent as overpoweringly good as they were in the previous sets. Feel like you have to need the support for them to really pop off instead of just putting them on board without any real synergies or supportive units. Spatula items can make them insanely strong. Mage Ezreal and Assassin Lee Sin are both pretty hilarious.
But whatever comp you play, just blue buff a Yuumi and roll a 3* Hecarim. That pair can legit 2vX when stacked.

Twitch buffs are meme/meaningless, e buff needs no explanation, ult buff is just like it’s a big buff but if you’re hitting multiple champions with his ult last patch and not getting one shot you win the fight. He needs lane or survival buffs for his general power level to change.

The next time I get Twitch in ARAM, I will test on hit AP build and see if you can do something with the E buff, but I don't think it's anything less than a troll change.

I think (even though the game takes place in a fictional universe) it’s because the character is Japanese? Japanese letters are pairs of Roman letters. So reading a Japanese name in English you would read it two letters at a time.

I feel like she still isn't great in lategame for low elo. A change where charm's vulnerability scales with rank or AP would mean you could still blow up a target in a Ult-E-QW.

I agree she’s pretty bad at the moment but if she approaches balanced she owns in silver / gold

Ahri has very poor scaling late. Yeah, her full combo can kill most carries, but it takes like 3 seconds and you have to hit 6 abilities which is just unrealistic. If you just hit someone with E and Q, you dent them for less than half their health. Compare that to LB Q and W, which is like 50% of your health once she has Rabadons.

Still better than when she could kill people with just 3xR + W at some point.

Oh yeah, not complaining. The days of DFG Ahri and friends was not a good time for anyone with sub 2000 HP. But right now he kit is awful, mainly because her numbers are far below comparable champs.

Right, they just need to properly reward hitting the EQ combo. OR you have to give her more control of space by remaking W into something like Jinx Chompers, Trouble Bubble, or Miasma. I mean, realistically we know they want to make it a skillshot anyways, they want all the skillshots, so that's a way to do what they already want without killing the theme of Ahri.

It’s basically a skill shot because they need to be charmed for it to do decent damage. Honestly the glacial slow bot build would probably be playable as is if they changed her passive from a flat heal to a % vamp. She could abuse the new minion execute in the same way Caitlyn abuses minion headshot + dblade to become an immovable laner.
Not sure if that’s good for the game or interesting though
My buff would probably be to have outward Q do true damage to charmed targets, the anti synergy between her ult and charm and needed q return for high damage is what makes her so unthreatening.
