That would affect the semis and Ro8 just as much, and those see good series much more regularly than the GSL finals. That's true, there has to be something more. But it definitely has an impact, weekenders deliver far more memorable series than GSL imo. btw no one can find that GSL finals power rank ? gotcha ! https://tl.net/forum/starcraft-2/438145-gsl-finals-retrospective-part-1-23-8 https://tl.net/forum/starcraft-2/439780-gsl-finals-retrospective-part-2-7-1 It's over 6 years old already at this point, needs an update yeah I thought it was more recent than that. I need to rewatch soulket vs inno aswell. for how shitty most finals were - including this one- those two alone put up an argument for never missing one. cant wait for season 2! haha I was rewatching Mvp Squirtle g7 myself. Even more incredible for me since I picked up the game a bit more seriously during that season and I remember my sheer amazement and excitement when watching that finals live, no wonder I sticked with the game for quite some time

But then again, slightly boring GSL finals had always been the norm rather the exception heh... can't wait for the next season!

Congratz to TY, he deserved a GSL trophy Edit: Watching the VOD, IDK if it's because I haven't have a life event in so long, but the GSL intro is giving me nerdchills, an 90K on the youtube page seems pretty good.

TY dismantling world-class players with tight preparation is a beautiful thing to watch. As usual, ro8 and ro4 were more exciting than the finals, but that's just how it is. (If you want a really terrible finals you could watch MC vs Seed.)

Game1: Creative BC play by TY Game2: Bad Game3: Amazing! Game4: Decent So, not a fantastic final a reasonable one, probably rank it below average in terms of the other finals, but definitely not in the bottom rungs.

I enjoyed it. It was like watching SkyHigh at his best in the same match up. [edit] SkyHigh was never as good in the other match ups as TY is but TY's understanding of Terran in a mirror match almost reaches the same level. Extraordinary.
