So, how does the show/hide thing in group stages work? Is that all JavaScript as well?

yes, however those tables are a lot less fragile than the brackets and a way less code

Technically yes, but people need to submit the shows to the calendar

Hey guys, I wanted to report something weird and missleading. In this article you say that, quote Team DK never received an invite for The International 2011. . But in this one you say DK was invited to the first international but was unable to make it due to Roster Changes and Passport Issues. . Those things are mutually exclusive. As far as I know, Team DK did recieve an invite, but was unable to make it to TI1 due to Yaphets screwing everyone up like he always does.

on the brood war unit info; it seems like the unit stats' cooldowns aren't correct in some cases. i.e. like they just ripped the data out of the game directly, without accounting for known bugs affecting some units' actual cooldowns/rate of fire. (or did those bugs eventually get fixed? haven't played sc1 in ages, but last I knew, which was after bw had been out for a long while, those bugs were still present)

how long should I expect it to take to get a response? it's been a week, and that seems like enough time. but maybe this place is only checked once/month or something?

u didnt provide any examples its unlikely someone's gonna test all the units ingame and compare that to all the unit pages

well, I assumed people were aware of them, since they're known bugs. (or used to be, which is why I asked if they ever got fixed). ok, for examples: stuff like stimmed marines not firing twice as fast as unstimmed marines, but firing about 5/3 as fast.

'known bugs' aren't documented anywhere so they aren't really common knowledge
they're also not always accurate
like the whole scv rightclick spam thing is a myth
i don't know if the cooldowns are measured or ripped from game data. they're most likely from game data tho

I'm talking about things that are known bugs; which have been documented and verified thoroughly. It's not that uncommon for games to have a few known bugs in any version. It's common for wikis and game forums to keep lists of known bugs, so people can play around them (and to avoid duplicate bug complaints if it's on the official site). And I'd be surprised if people maintaining a wiki aren't aware of known bugs in the game; or for there to be notes of the history thereof.

because they aren't gameplay affecting bugs
nobody's going to be playing the game and say "weird that my ultras are attacking 4.3 frames slower than the number listed in the data sheet"

it's inaccurate to say they aren't gameplay affecting bugs. they literally affect gameplay. it changes the DPS units do in battle.
it's just that the bugs were around forever so people got used to their effects, even if they weren't aware of them. and all the strategies and gameplay people developed simply work off actual gameplay experience.

they affect gameplay in relation to a data sheet you can find online but ingame it's essentially meaningless
it's not like the game was balanced based off a dps spreadsheet
if anything i'd say the cooldown listed on the data sheet is wrong because it doesn't account for the idiosyncrasies of the game engine

odd way of saying in game it's meaningless; but I'd say we're saying the same thing in very different ways. just a choice of words quibble, so whatev.
anyway; should something be done about what liquipedia shows for the stuff?
