The view from my little sunrise spot above the Boab Quarry camp site in Western Australia. There is no path up there but with a tiny bit of scrambling, you can make it to the top easily.. we'll worth it for sure!

The Tunnel Creek National Park in Western Australia. Pretty cool hike through little caves and water, my favorite spot was actually this one right at the entrance looking back.

Another picture from the Tunnel Creek National Park. Coming out on the other side of the cave after wading through some water, you get to these cool looking Stalactites up on the roof.

One of the reasons why people flock in to Cable Beach in Western Australia: riding the camels during sunset! Nothing I wanted to do myself, but certainly a great motive for a photo.

The staircase to the Moon in Western Australia is basically a full moon rising over muddy sand bank in the ocean during low tide. The main location to see it is Broome, I missed it there though and see it from Port Headland. In the end, it probably looks exactly the same anyway.

Our first campsite in the Karijini National Park, Western Australia was the Albert Tognilini Rest Area. Got a really cool spot to chill out during sunset before preparing the usual camping dinner.

Coming down through the spiderwalk hike in the Hancock gorge of Western Australia's Karijini National Park was probably the most fun thing to do in the area, don't miss out on it!

The Thorny devil is a pretty rare reptile to look out for on the roads of Western Australia. Our awesome couch surfing host actually spotted this little guy while driving when he tried to cross the road!

The Hamelin Pool Stromatolites viewing deck at Shark Bay, Western Australia. We could see the pretty small Stromatolites in the crystal clear water during high tide. Pretty cool stopover to Monkey Mia!

A small selection of Shell Beach in Western Australia. As an another obvious stop on the way to monkey Mia, this place supposedly has so many shells that they stack up to 10m! I still find that hard to believe though and did not bother digging a hole.

Mother nature never ceases to amaze. Beautiful sun rays coming through the clouds just before sunset on our whalebone Bay camp site in Western Australia.

Dolphins are home to Monkey Mia in Western Australia as they regularly get fed and looked after here. Tourists can come every morning to get very close to them and feed them some fish!

If you go to the other side of the pier at the beach of Monkey Mia in Western Australia, just jump into the water and see if the dolphins come by to say hi I waited half an hour and saw 3 of them passing, such an awesome and truly wild encounter this time!

It's basically guaranteed to run into a Kangaroo at some point on your trip through Western Australia. Kalbarri had hundreds of them hopping around everywhere!

This was one of my favorite wild camping spots in all of Australia! Just below the Eagle Gorge Lookout In Kalbarri, I found a perfect sheltered overhang and made it there just in time for an amazing sunset while looking at the whales migrating below.
